Great upgrade to your car and Camera is not noticeable
Quality looks good and camera makes you think that your car already came with a fabric reverse camera.

Straightforward after watching videos and easy for someone with no prior experience.
I installed this on my 2015 370z, replacing my driver's side plate light. I had to flip the housing around by unscrewing four little screws to go on the driver's side, and then it clipped right in. There were few resources online for where to connect the wires, so it is a good idea to test them to see what is power and ground for the reverse light. I connected red to green and black to black on mine and then ran the wire to the front and had to connect one more wire to the reverse-in wire for the stereo and the camera port. I opted to keep the lines so I didn't cut the white wire; they are helpful guides when parking. The camera quality is not too amazing, but it serves its purpose of being able to see behind the car. The 370z rear mirrors don't do much to help out, and it gives me peace of mind knowing what is below my back window.

Good so far
Installed on my 2008 350Z roadster, paired with a Kenwood. Easy to install, good cam angle, noticeable, but no worse than most stock cams. I'm much happier with this than I would have been with drilling holes in my trunk. For the price, definitely worth it. Nice clear picture too.

Great backup camera once you figure out installation.
I found this backup camera from reading Nissan 370z forums for DIY backup cameras. Based on the forum post and the reviews on Amazon. I made the purchase to install on my (new to me) 2011 Nissan 370z. Everything in the box it came in seemed pretty straight foward (the camera in the housing that replaced the license plate light, the RCA video and the power wires). There is a sheet with installation instructions, but it was very, very light and honestly did not help. The only useful item it highlighted was to connect the red wire lead attached to the yellow RCA cable to the reverse light (wire).Installation:I followed the DIY post for swapping the left (drivers) side license plate light and running the wires from the camera to the radio. This was not very hard and just a bit time consuming to remove panels without breaking clips, running the wire and securing it to other wires.Connecting to the radio:I bought an Alpine ILX-407 from Crutchfield because they have an option to to purchase a complete wire harness hookup for plug-and-play from the radio to your car's wire harness. The exception to their pre-wired harness is the input for the backup camera as I also purchased the datalink maestro so I could control the radio using the factory buttons on the steering wheel which comes with a camera input. You bypass the one on their harness and plug it directly into the back of the radio.Connecting the camera to wires for power, ground and to turn on when you put the car in reverse:As mentioned, I had the camera input connected into the radio. However, there was no place for the red wire to connect on the radio (there is an orange and white wire on the radio, but it was connected on the harness). After reading the instructions from the packaging multiple times, I just could not figure out where to connect the white wire. So I proceeded to work backwards from the camera up to the radio. I connected the red wire (connected to the yellow RCA plug) to the reverse light wire (white wire), connected the red wire (connected to the other wire in the package that has a black plug that connects to the other black plug on from the camera) to the tail light power (red wire) and then the black wire a screw for grounding. No camera. I tried several other combinations and no go. I looked up numerous videos and no go. I broke down and call Crutchfield technical support. Even though I did not buy the camera from them, they walked me through the likely way to wire this. They were 100% correct and below is how it installed, properly.1. Connect the RCA vido output from the camera to the back of the radio's video input (done properly very early on).2. Do NOT connect the red wire that is connected to the RCA (yellow) wire at all. It does nothing.3. Connect the red wire (from the power wire) to the tail light reverse wire (white wire).4. Connect the black wire to a ground on the vehicle (bolt on the frame somewhere).Once above was done, along with connecting a few other pre-wired small plugs from the Crutchfield wire harness into the ODB2 port on my Nissan AND into the idatalink maestro, the camera gets power only when I put the car in reverse and worked without issue.A few days later, and works great. This is a MUST DO modification due to the blind spot in the 370z and no longer has me holding my breath when I am backing out of a parking spot!

Best back up camera for an OEM look.
Was a great addition to my 350z. Gives a OEM look and fit without the big price. Works great with my aftermarket head unit with clear picture quality.

Great quality of life upgrade for my 350Z
I installed this in a 2006 350Z with a Sony XAV-AX1000 headunit. I have no prior experience with installing a backup camera, and it took me about 1-2 hours. I installed it on the driver's side license place light.A previous review said that they didn't connect the two red wires on both ends of the RCA cable. You need to connect one side to the camera's power source (I used the reverse light's power) and the other to the headunit's reverse wire. This allows the headunit to know when the car is in reverse, and it will automatically switch to the camera view when you shift into reverse.
