My routine for the AM: oil cleanser- milk toner- niacinamide- caffeine solution for eyes- beta moisturizer. My routine for the PM: SA Cleanser- essence- hyaluronic- caffeine solution for eyes- Beta moisturizer. For deep moisturizer i place Biodance pads on my cheeks and cut one up for my nose and I leave it on until it dries. When I wake up I use rosewater facial mist. Moisturizes my face. I use it btwn the day. Absolutely wonderful. This new routine has CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! Within a week! My face is so moisturized. No more clogged pores! My makeup puts on nicely. Thank You Ordinary! Please so not ever change your prices. You got a loyal FOR LIFE!! I love these products. Affordable and I can come to them time and time again!

I have super dry and dehydrated skin no matter what I do. I have tried every moisturizer to get my skin to look even a little more hydrated with very little luck. I added this to my skin routine and what a change. Its instantly moisturizing on its own but then you can add ANY other moisturizer to your skin and this helps get it into your skin. Sometimes when I wash my face at night I can still feel my skincare products have not absorbed and I do not have that problem after adding this to my routine! highly recommended for all skin times but mostly my dry girlies

The Ordinary wins again. I’m loving this item. I really feel like my skincare products are more effective after starting this. Quality is certainly there, and it’s super easy to use and apply as the first step in my routine. Skin feels soft, not tight or dry. Definitely a good value for the money. I will be repurchasing.

This is such an amazing product. The quality is impeccable. I love how it makes my skin feel soft. This is a part of their Glass Skin Regimen. I use the Glycolipid Cream Cleanser, Milky Toner, Multi Active Delivery Essence, Niacinamide and the Natural Moisturizing Factors PhytoCeramides to seal in moisture. I get so many compliments on my skin. Not expensive at all!

So here's my thing. I'm in my soft life era. I'm in my 50's and have decided to make a conscious effort to use only stuff that is a pleasure to use, especially when it comes to skincare. For years I've exclusively used Hanskin's essence which is water, but thicker than this one from The Ordinary. The Hanskin brand has more glycerin so it's got a dewier feel to it and I really love the feeling. Even though I love the feeling and have had no issues with my skin while using it, as we women often do, I wanted to try something else, especially something that might perform just as well for less money. I've been using The Ordinary essence for about a month now. It is very very very watery. If not for the scent, I'd think it WAS water. It's very runny, and the scent is not horrible; it's just not "pretty". It smells clinical, almost a teeny chemical scent. I can't complain as far as my skin accepting it. I've had no issues, no breakouts or anything. It's definitely less expensive so there's that. I just don't "enjoy" using it. There is nothing luxurious about this product. I also find it weird that there seems to be no list of ingredients. At least with the Hanskin essence, I know exactly what's in it. I get my actives exclusively from The Ordinary (mandelic, alpha arbutin and niacinamide) but I think I'll go back to my old essence. I also don't like that is in such a tiny bottle. If I were to stick with this one, I'd have to buy 2 bottles and pour it into a larger bottle. Not bad, just not lux. For something I do more than once a day (wash my face) I want it to feel less like a chore, and more like a lovely experience. This doesn't give me that. But I'll be fair. I'm not going to throw away the product since I'm having no adverse effects. I'll finish the bottle and see if I notice any difference. If you know my reviews, I sure will return and update once I've "hit the pan" (emptied the bottle).

i have combination skin and this worked wonderfully! it gives my skin a nice glow and hydrates it, i love it!

I bought this twice because it makes my skin so smooth and soft. The bottle is smaller than I expected but it last longer I thought. I use cotton pads to apply it to my face.

One of my new go to products. I was never a big skin care girl until my forties and now it’s essential. I use this daily, often 2 times a day and it has changed my skin. I use right after cleansing and before the GF 15% serum. My skin is clearer, brighter, and my makeup goes on much better. Would love it If it came in a larger bottle.
