Modern Table Complete Protein Lentil Rotini Pasta, 6 Count, Gluten Free, No Artificial Preservatives

I didn't realize until after I bought these that they have pea protien in them and aren't pure lentil. I usually HATE pea protien but times are tough and who returns pasta anyways. Wow was I impressed!!! Lentil pasta already has a nice texture, the pea protien seemed to add a kind of chewiness I haven't experimented in gluten free pasta choices before. It has a slightly unami flavor that is delightful with bright, savory dishes like red sauce or cold pasta salad. I haven't tried it with a cream based sauce but I think a very sharp cheddar could stand up to and compliment the faint pea powder taste. I reccomend for people looking to curb carbs, increase protien, or just not need to deal with finding a protien when you just want to eat a huge bowl of pasta salad without feeling gross afterwards. So delicious, I will buy again!

I bought a box of this at our local grocery store and it is hands-down the best gluten-free pasta we've found (and we've tried A LOT of them). Great texture, doesn't fall apart, and fabulous flavor. The box is smaller than many "standard" boxes, so know that you'll only probably get two servings, but it's so good it's worth it!

We really like these noodles. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because we received 2 boxes of rotini and 4 boxes of penne. Should have been 2 boxes of penne and 2 boxes of macaroni. Other than that they are worth the money.

UPDATE 2/12/2021 doing another re-order, love this pasta. I can still lose weight while eating this!!!This is the best gluten free pasta I have ever tried. They firm up after cooling from boiling water. They taste good, the same thickness as wheat rotini, same flavor to me. I would have never known they were gluten-free. They have great texture and flavor even after being in the fridge overnight and being reheated. Will buy it again.

These are really good. Pure red lentil pasta is too grainy. Pure chickpea pasta tastes horrible. Pure black bean pasta is nauseatingly gummy.Modern Table incorporates rice flour into the pasta along with the lentils, and by doing so, creates a texture very similar to actual dried pasta. Go for this stuff, follow the directions.*Trader Joe's yellow lentil and rice spaghetti is still the GOAT, but you can only get that in stores.

Honestly the veggie content is nice! I applaud this company for making healthy pasta but the bean flavor hits you in the face if you don't boil it off. Once that flavor leaves the noodle soft it's actually very edible. But it shrinks down to tiny pasta. One box couldn't feed 2 people after it's cooked so that's why I did a low star review. Maybe 1 serving per box? This isn't for everyone but if you are cooking for just yourself and if you like the texture of a canned chefboyardee soft noodle.... That's what it's texture is most like. It's small but healthy. So it has some pros but some cons too.

Holds together for the most pasta like gluten free pasta I have had. I'd rather avoid rice, but all of the riceless pastas I have tried turn to mush. The one exception had sesame seed in it and lentils or beans. I forget. You had to like you pasta chewy for that one. This Modern Table Pasta is a satisfying and tastes like real pasta.

It is a bit expensive but it's the closest thing I have found to real pasta. I have even made macaroni salad with it and it's delicious. For diabetics or gluten free requirements, it's great.
