My son does competitive gymnastics and we have definitely gotten our money's worth with this purchase, as he uses it on a consistent basis. His use of it has paid dividends has he has gotten more confident and his shoulders and back have gotten stronger by using it

I was concerned about this product because the cost was SO MUCH lower than any other mushroom on the internet (and I have been looking for a year)! But, I was very surprised and happy with what arrived. My son said it feels just like the real thing and he has been using it every day since it has arrived (for at least an hour) and loves it. It is lightweight but sturdy. This is great because while it won't move around or slip on the rug while he is doing his circles, he can lift it up and move it around easily (he is 7). Thank you for making a more affordable mushroom for my little gymnast.

We had a wonderful buying experience. I contacted customer service in advance of purchasing the product with a few questions about shipping etc (because a large item like this would take more than a moment to hide from three young boys when it shows up on the doorstep). The company replied very quickly and were so nice and accommodating with my questions and concerns purchasing a large item like this. For example, they were very helpful and generous to offer me options for shipping packaging to conceal the item more easily, etc. I appreciated their willingness to adjust the packaging. I ended up shipping it to grandma and grandpa to hide, just incase the kids kept asking what was in the giant box and then recognize it under the tree Christmas day. Even though we haven't gotten to use it at the time of this review, I am 1000% confident in this item. I know my boys will get plenty of use out of this product, it seems durable and I think it will be able to stand up to the test of time. The colors are nice too, because I didn't really want another giant bright colored item in the middle of the house, like so many other kid items we have. This looks sturdy, durable, and classy to me. :) So excited about the mushroom trainer! I actually had to resist the temptation to bring it out before Christmas! :) I didn't think Saint Nick would bring something quite this big though, so have to be patient!!

First, the mushroom itself seems solid and should serve as a good at-home training tool. However, I was fairly disappointed considering the price point. The base arrived with noticeable footprints and scuffs, which made it feel less polished than I expected. Additionally, the holes in the base and padding didn’t align perfectly, leaving the pad slightly off-center. While this doesn’t significantly affect functionality, it’s a detail I wouldn’t expect to overlook at this price. Overall, it works well but could have been presented with more care and attention to quality.

The media could not be loaded. This is a good, sturdy mushroom for practicing at home. The surface is fairly firm, but not quite as firm as a competition mushroom. The base slid around on carpet until we added a bead of hot glue around the bottom. This stopped it from slipping on carpet and made the practice more effective. A rubberized tread or grippy strip on the bottom would probably improve this product immensely. This is very well made and good for the price for practicing at home. My son really loves it, and he has been getting better every day!

The mushroom itself is exactly what you'd expect. However, less than two days after it being delivered, the top fabric split along the sides. I contacted customer service, and they promptly replied that they'd resend a new one and that it'd arrive by the following Wednesday; I thought the issue was resolved. However, it's been almost a month, still no top, and customer service won't respond to messages. Very disappointed, especially for the price paid.

We bought this for one of our kids (6) who is very into gymnastics and tumbling right now. We thought this would be a great way for him to build new skills (pommel horse would be next step when he gets bigger).The quality is good. But I didn't appreciate the fact that it showed up in a big cardboard box with no padding or wrapping of any kind around the two parts (top and bottom have to be attached after opening). So both pieces were just tossed into a box and were rattling around in there -- which didn't bend or break the parts (they're sturdy/thick plastic), but the box itself got SLASHED (over 18" long opening) in transit. Anyone could have looked inside to see what it was and very easily just slid pieces out. I got lucky that whatever cut the box only nicked the plastic on the bottom piece. So I didn't complain.My son is happy with it but I'm still cringing at the price. I feel like this is marked up simply because there aren't a lot of sources to pick from. So I paid over $250 for two pieces of molded plastic that I put together myself. Other gymnastics equipment we've purchased from other vendors were better value for the money spent. If you're considering purchasing this, be sure your child wants it and has enough basic skill and interest to USE IT because it's not cheap.

Very disappointed as there are no screws to hold the top on and no sticker. Leather top scratched as well as black barrel. Gave it to my son for his bday and not safe to use.
