Works really nice & easy, detecting real diamonds. I use it a lot and appreciate it's simplicity & accuracy. Price is more than fair. Won't differentiate between lab & natural diamonds but, any jewelry more than a couple years old is almost certain to have the natural (more valuable) diamonds. Color & clarity is also something not measured by this device. Still, very pleased with this piece of equipment!

My very first diamond tester and I knew I didn't want to buy cheap ones. I rather buy from the brand I trust. Very easy to use. Click the button to turn it on, flashing light for less than a minute. Once the light is solid, you can test out your diamonds. Comes with a charging cord but not sure how to find once charging is full since there is no indication.

We don't have many choices in the jewelry industry for diamond testers. So we have to get something that's out there. Presidium is the most popular tester for diamonds. This tester works great so far. One helpful hint for small diamonds. Make sure you don't hit any metal when testing because it will beep as a diamond. Wear magnifying glasses if you have to. Go straight down on the diamond and don't slant the pen. It should work fine.

The tip/ needle that you use to test the item is not working and there are no replacement needles and they will not exchange it.Do not purchase

This works like a charm. I found out the diamond earrings that I bought at Kohls are not diamond, though. That makes me mad. But all of my other diamond register perfectly. It's very easy to use.

Works, functional and accurate, despite of its high price. I love the rechargeable batteries, but concerned about the thought of how to replace when batteries no longer recharge. The tip cover is somehow tricky to be removed, being careful not to damage the tip. The green light takes a while to light up before instrument can be utilized. Fortunately, the stone to be tested remains stationery and does not walk away.

Value for money

BEST I have seen for accurate & ease. ONLY issue is AUTO shutoff.... has to "warm up" before testing.--Much better accuracy than another brand I had that did Moissanite also. That one was a guessing game, sometimes GOOD, next time NO GOOD.
