They look really good from the top stair! I got navy blue of these stair treads, and paired them with a red color for the square landing. Having read other reviews, I made sure I had enough time to spread out the treads after they arrived so that there would be minimal curling when I applied them to the stairs. That time was worth the wait, and though the clear peel was a bit annoying to get off, the stick has been really good! We don't wear shoes in our house, but we do have lots of traffic with kids and adults over 200 lbs. and have vacuumed on and around them. For our stairs, the treads do not cover the entire width, so we left the tip of each stair bare, so we don't slip off the edges. I really like their feel and feel confident bringing the baby up and down with a bit of cushioning each step.

Our new home has beautifully crafted stairs but they were too smooth/slippery for our Boxer dog. She nearly fell from the landing the first time she tried to descend. We put these stairs-treads on every step and that solved the problem. Actually, we feel safer with them ourselves. They are easily to apply and look good.

So far these have been great. I like that they aren’t a permanent installation, yet the adhesive provides enough stick to keep them from moving. My only complaints are that one, the film covering the adhesive prior to installation is a real pain to remove. It does not come off in one piece and is frustrating to work with. Additionally, the way these are shipped results in two “mounds” on each tread that are difficult to get flattened once installed. I ended up needing to use an iron to get each one to lay flat. Overall, nice looking treads that add style and safety to our slippery stairs for my family and our pups!

These stair treads look great! It’s so difficult to find them with the matching rugs for the landing. I laid them all flat for a few days before installing them. I cleaned my stairs first. They were very easy to peel. I didn’t have any problems with lifting corners or anything else. It took me less than an hour to peel and stick. I measured a piece of cardboard to center them. I saw a guy using a piece of wood, so that gave me the idea. I like to place them closer to the edge so the steps are protected a little more from my big dogs going up and down. Since I installed them last month, they haven’t moved an inch. I will wash them in cold water (like my previous ones) and lay them out to dry. I’m hoping that the stickiness comes back after drying them like my older ones did. I don’t foresee a problem with that since they have the same type of backing. My stairs are about 39x11.5 for reference.

Perfect. Easy install, instantly did what was needed. My elder dog can go up and down without slipping, that’s all that matters!

Very happy with these stair treads. Love the pattern and feel. Backing is a little difficult to get off to reveal the adhesive but not a deal breaker. Easy to apply and love the way they look. Great pricing too! I would highly recommend them

Received the Stair Treads about a week ago. They were very easy to install but wasn't sure how well the adhesive would keep them in place so I did use some glue as well as they were applied to wooden stairs. We had company over for Christmas and the entire family loved the look of them. Quality seems to be good as well. Thanks for the quality product at a reasonable price.

They look great and stick well. Great size and almost completely cover my steps.

Nice pattern and the colour matched well with our decor. I bought double-sided carpet tape and put a strip across either end of each piece before installing. While the carpet pieces do have an adhesive backing, I'd prefer it to have been a little more sticky. But the use of carpet tape adds insurance against them curling up, and I know from previous experience that I can still easily remove and replace the treads whenever we decide to redecorate, or refresh them.

Plastic backing was awkward to peel off. A bit of a struggle to get the treads to stick perfectly flat. Some corners lifted a bit.
