Did quite a bit of research on cantilever umbrellas as we recently redid our deck and now have space for one. Our deck faces west. Couldnt be more happy with this umbrella. We looked at an 11 ft cantilever umbrella at Costco in store for $679.99 and this one seems better built. Only thing that seemed less quality was the fabric is more nylon than others with sunbrella fabric. It even came with lights which was an unsuspecting bonus. Love that it rotates 360 degrees so we can find the perfect amount of shade. It stays locked in to place once you adjust the rotation. The 5 vertical tilt options also help with dialing in the shade. Great product and would recommend for anyone in the market for one. We used the 19 inch sunnyglade 4 piece base filled with water. Incredibly sturdy!!

I was excited. Had a bunch of good reviews. However, when putting the umbrella together, the tall neck of the stand was bent. I was super disappointed because having to repackage and reship a product this large is just gut wrenching. So my husband bent it out with pliers and made it work. Which, surprisingly, the neck was stupid thin and questioned how the heck it’s going to last with the heaviness is the umbrella. He asked me what the reviews were for this product because for the price, he did expect something sturdier. So!!!! After putting it together and jury rigging, we cranked the umbrella up. Now, I know it says the base plates are separate, but doesn’t say you need them when you do!!!! Very disappointing that we couldn’t even open it without my husband standing on the base and applying his weight. I had intentions to eventually buy the base, but wanted to make sure I liked the umbrella first. Poor advertisement that the base is optional, it’s required! My only positive part of the review is that I really like the umbrella canvas!! Very disappointed and was super excited about this purchase. Ugh.

Easy enough to assemble. A bit heavy, so if any doubts, be prepared to have assistance. Be certain to order base weights and have them ready to use at time of assembly. Functions easily and well.

We are enjoying this umbrella. It is easy to operate and provides ample shade for our deck. The offset base allows us to optimize the use of our limited space without having limit ourselves with a table around the umbrella. We also appreciate that while offering shade the umbrella still lets enough light through for an enjoyable atmosphere.On a side note we did receive an umbrella that some of the stitching had been missed. We contacted the vendor and they promptly made arrangements to replace the umbrella. I applaud them for their customer service.

i bought this because i was looking for a good 11' umbrella. overall, it's a nice umbrella, and does the trick, but it doesn't stand up on it's own. the weight distribution is really uneven. i have 6 sand bags on it to keep it from tilting over when it's opened. just seems like a really obvious design flaw.

So far great value. Was initially missing a few parts, but customer service quickly addressed and got us what we needed. So far it’s a great addition to the yard.

This patio umbrella was purchased to hopefully block out some of the midday sun which tends to be super blazing hot.So far, we are happy with it because it not only effectively blocks the sun, but also provides a measure of privacy that the Wife insists on. Very pleased with the functionality of it. And, of course, the price was right.

Easy install. Requires extra parts..base and sand. Even with the weighted base still needs to be anchored in.
