Good unit, good price
I got this to replace another pulse oximeter. This unit is easier to use, measures body temperature which my other one did not, and costs about one quarter as much. I liked it so much that one week later I ordered a second unit.

Does not work on my Schipperke
While this device may work well when placed on a dogs tongue, have you ever tried to place anything on an un-sedated dog's tongue? I then tried the alternate position on the front foot, but the readings were unreliable, if at all. The unit worked well on my human finger. I tried both sensor clamp units to no avail. I then was relegated to monitor my pacemaker equipped dog with my stethoscope. Anybody have any suggestions as I would like this device to work? The device took an extremely long time to arrive so I am not going to attempt sending it back. I wish there was a simple, reliable electronic heart rate monitor so that I could route heart rate data electronically to NC State Veterinarian Hospital. The device seems to be of quality design and manufacture, but I need great function!

This unit can be recharged with an android phone cord!
The numbers are large & easily read. The pulse sound goes up in a musical tone as the number gets higher & goes down in tone as the number goes down. Great for when you are the surgeon & concentrating on what you need to do & yet can tell by the tones what your animal patient is doing, even while your technician is also monitoring. It’s has a long life battery, we have used it for several hours & still do not need to recharge it. The rubber like protective case helps protect against drops. Yes ours fell off the tray we had it on & it was just fine.

Great product
Love it! We have been using it for awhile and it reads accurately, even on cats. The temp probe is great during surgery. Recommend highly.

Pulse ox with a temp probe???? Whaaaa???
I love this pulse ox for anesthetic procedures, I use it at both my emergency job and my gp. I let my coworker use it on a surgery case and she said everything matched up (HR and temp) the whole procedure. I also love that you can use it plugged in and with or without batteries. Sometimes I charge it in my car on the way to work! It's not the best for the quick SPO2 on the awake patient in the oxygen cage, but other than that LOVE IT! I need to start leasing it out because people keep wanting to borrow it 😁
