Little Tikes - Toddler / Kids Replacement Basketball Ball - 5.82 inch diameter

Great basketball. I needed a replacement for the tiny basketball that came with the hoop set. This ball was just right in size. Great bounce. About twice the size of the original ball that comes with most toddler basketball courts. I would recommend anyone to buy this basketball if you plan to buy a kids court because the ball that comes with it is a way too small.

This is exactly like what comes with the Little Tikes hoop. My almost 2 year old always wanted the ball when playing with my almost 6 year old. Now she has her own ball and we can play. Size, color, and feel are just like the one we already have.

So glad they sell extra basketballs for the Little Tikes hoop. My two girls got the hoop for their birthday, but we wanted to have a ball for each of them. This was perfect... an exact match so there is minimal "fighting" over who gets which ball. Thank you for saving our sanity!

The basketball works wonderfully for toddlers and smaller kids. The ball itself is bouncy (not spongey like a Nerf), but soft enough that my kids bounce it off the windows at high speed and it does not do damage. (I don't recommend this, but I favor the ball BECAUSE it doesn't break windows- where most non-squishy balls would!) My 4 kids are constantly using this, and because I bought an extra ball, there's no fighting. Either one is "the boys-ketball" and the other "the girls-ketball", or one is the "younger-ball" and one the "older-ball". Highly recommend this in conjunction with a hoop!

I cannot really evaluate the ball so far: we just got it, it is almost exactly as pictured, just a little browner than the one it was bought to replace, it's round, it bounces. There is nothing truly remarkable about it. Except... This ball's predecessor came with the original FP hoop our daughter got as a gift nearly 19 years ago. This past December, a small hole appeared. The original ball had endured a little more than 18.5 years of play, used for indoor basketball and soccer practice. Yes, indoor soccer practice. All members of my family have kicked, dribbled, and most have shot this ball uncountable times over the years. However, one member of our family considers this ball HERS and no replacement ball will do. Yes, this girl turned her nose up at this new ball. Were she capable of writing a review about this ball, it would consist of a sniff and the clear indifference of player devoted to the equipment that no new ball can replace. Alas, she cannot write about the original ball, because she is a Yorkie, a 7 year old, 8 pound soccer playing canine whose favorite play is chasing, dribbling and biting at this ball. Fortunately, a bit of super adhesive patches the hole just enough to fill with enough air to keep it rolling and keep this sweetest and fiercest footballer entertained. And she probably doesn't even realize that she doesn't have share it with her big brother anymore. So here's to you, original ball, may your successor reign as long (because we will surely be handing this down to our kids for theirs).

When my husband's dog destroyed the basketball that came with my son's Little Tykes basketball hoop, he was heartbroken. I rushed out to buy a ball to replace it but found nothing local that I really wanted him to use long term in the house. I like my pictures, TV, and lamps too much. So I thought I'd give this one a go. It's appropriately sized, it's light (so even if it bounces off the tv... the TV is remaining upright), and best of all... my son loves it. I recommend this ball if you need a replacement to the little tykes basketball hoop. It's actually better than the one that came with it!

we picked up a little tikes basketball hoop at a garage sale and it didn't come with the ball so we purchased this. works great for the hoop and my toddler loves it.

Bought an extra ball thinking it would be identical to the original, you know how kids are. Sadly this extra ball was not quite inflated, and the color and texture of the ball's surface is slightly different. The kids know that one of the ball's is not as good. Hopefully they will learn to share while I figure out how to inflate the extra ball.

Bounces well, easy for toddler to grab. Light to toss. Fits the small basketball rims just great. Price is expensive though for what you get. Can buy at Walmart for 1/3 the price.

Product was very inferior and was off balance hence did not bounce in a straight line. Product did not look any way close to what is in the picture!
