Good charger

Honestly I expected this to be a laptop's equivalent of a gas station charger but it seems well built. Its solid, heavy, and even has the plastic protection wrap that is so satisfying to peel off. I read other reviews that complained about it being a loose plugin but mine is perfectly fine. The only difference between this and the original is the ASUS logo. If it breaks, starts a fire, or can't charge the laptop fast enough under a gaming load, I will edit this review. (8/15/2020)

for my GL502VM it works perfectly well and a most agreeable price

I've had this thing plug in for 36 hours now and it has only charged the battery to 50%

Initially, the charger worked as expected, but within 8 months, it began developing serious connection issues: charging intermittently and often failing altogether if plugged in overnight. Most concerningly, after a little over a year, it overheated and partially melted on my desk. Luckily I was there. This poses a serious fire risk and should be addressed.
