Not very helpful
I was perhaps barking up the wrong tree when I bought this. I am the parent of a teen that has a band and I was looking for equipment and sound engineering advice - what to buy, how to set up for a gig, how to set up for practice sessions, etc., as well as how to break into the paid gig scene. I didn't find this book helpful. It was too elementary in my opinion, and aimed at young kids more than anything else. Some of it is funny, but I wasn't looking for humor. I recommend checking this out from the library before buying it to see if it fits your needs.
