Cool Little Shaker for the Money
It works well. Drop in your flowers. Toss in a few quarters. Put the lid on. Shake.I will say as others have noted the lid was, on mine at least, insanely tight fitting. So much so that it was a real struggle to pry it off.I remedied this by sanding the inner surface with some high grit sandpaper. Now it pops on and off with ease.If you opt for this solution just make sure to do it in steps and test fit the lid every so often. You don’t wanna make it so loose it leaks and/or comes off way too easily. It was a simple fix. So I’m still giving 5 stars. That and because I’m not one of those folks with lousy problem solving skills who gripe about minor nuisances as if the whole world is about to end because of them.

Works like a charm
This shaker exceeded my expectations. I've noticed alot of complaints about the caps. They function perfectly and cant imagine how someone could break them from normal use. They're not brittle as I was led to believe and its fully functional as mentioned in the comments. If it were made from 100% quality materials, it would be unreasonably expensive.

Item great, but the caps are not. Buy it, anyway.
This thing is actually pretty great. The plastic caps are trash, and the bottom one split on the side simply from the action of removing, washing, and putting it back on. Amazon refunded the item. The seller told me they don't carry replacement caps. I am currently trying to find a suitable replacement.I love the all metal design. The screen is sturdy and i do not worry about punching through it. The surface area of the screen is huge; a lot more than I expected. I have sifted more in the last hour than I could have in a month from using a sifter grinder combo. I am beyond impressed, and wish I had purchased this decades ago. Buy it now. You will not be disappointed.Just remember to wash it before you use it. It smells like machine oil.

This Really Works Well, Bigger than Expected.
I've been searching online looking for an affordable pollen extractor. I finally found one with this very affordable product that gets the job done right. I save all of my stems and pile them together. Once I have enough stems and they're nice and dry, I pop them in the freezer for a few minutes. I then grind them up, not for long and not too fine, in a coffee grinder. Then I'll fill the shaker with a fair amount of plant material. The metal screen that prevents any plant material from getting through works like a charm. Only crystals/trichomes can fit through, leaving a perfectly amber pollen pile. The kief produced is very clean after one time through the shaker. The holes in the metal screen are very fine, the container is made out of a durable aluminum with plastic covers on the top and bottom. The pollen collects on the bottom plastic cover and is easily scraped and scooped off of. I recommend this product to anybody trying to make concentrates, it's affordable and very much worth every penny! Save your stems and trimmings, they all produce a large amount of pollen if collected properly.

Cheaply made. Be prepared to wash, sand, and possibly reattach the filter.
This product is extremely shabby made. First off, you will lose so much product at the point where the screen is attached to the cylinder. Secondly, the bottom and top pieces fit too tightly and take a lot of work to get off (be careful you WILL spill everything if you don't do it slowly). Thirdly, the whole thing smelled like engine grease and has some kind of residue all over it. I had to wash it three times with hot water and soap, the third time I used alcohol. Last but not least, it was sharp all over and needed to be sanded before use to avoid cutting myself. You get what you pay for, so if you're interested in a cheap product that you have to spend about an hour on before actually using, then this is the product for you!

Highly effecient item for a good price.
This is a great item for under $14. I read reviews on how to use and this is easy and effecient. I froze plant matter, crumbled gently, placed in shaker, shook for a few seconds and gold kief was on the bottom. I then gently put my hand in the shaker and moved the material around without hard force and even more kief came out. You don't need to spend $50 on a fancy wooden box. This shaker does the job. I cleaned with water, then alcohol to get the sticky resideu off. Finally to clean the fine screen I used my shower massage on high and blew out the remaining particles. It's ready for the next harvest.

Top lid is quite a hassle to get off, especially the first time.Hint - wiggle it and slowly pry it off using your hand one edge at time, you have to loosin' it up a bit.Even then it's still hard as heck to take off, it produces flower product (keif) fairly nicely. One issue is little metal shavings appearing in the end product.. :(Luckily, you can see most of them. Make sure you give her a good inspection before using!

Paid for itself with my first use!
Iv bought plenty of keef catchers and this one blew my mind! First off it's bigger then any iv used previously, I'd guess that it'll hold an ounce and still be able to shake around pretty well. When I first tried to get the lid off it was very tight and then cracked Wich I patched with a little piece of gorilla brand duct tape (amazing tape BTW )and haven't had any problems, it may have actually made taking the lid off and on easier. I popped an eighth of greens in there and shook it around for about 30 seconds then wanted to check the progress so I took the bottom lid off and I was totally shocked at the pile of crystals that 30 seconds produced! I actually weighed out what I had because I was SO impressed and it was half a gram! Considering I had only started with 3.5 grams of greens, getting .5gs of keef was incredible to me! Now everytime I buy a new bag, it goes straight into my shaker before anything else. With a gram of keef going for $45 at my current dispensery, this baby paid for itself and then some with my first use! Love it.
