very slim and simple. They will do the job without adding and weight to the cards. Once inserted, the cards almost don't even appear to have a sleeve. Virtually invisible and no irregularities at all in size or fit. Will purchase again

Always fully read the product description and reviews!
I made two purchases of this product. The first box came in was BCW sleeves, the second one was ultra pro. I would've been fine with the brand difference if the sleeves were in fact mostly identical. This is not the case. The sleeve width is effectively the same, but the height is not. If I shuffled together these 2 different sets of sleeves, you could certainly be able to feel variance. Not to mention the BCW sleeves definitely feel cheaper as the sides seem somewhat frayed almost (the picture included shows 2 completely unused sleeves from each of my orders).I am very unhappy with this purchase, but at 8 bucks its not even worth it to send back. I'm now stuck with 2 different sized penny sleeves that really shouldn't be used together, even though they're sold interchangeably. This product really should be marked as 'not as pictured', they need to include a photo of a lot of BCW sleeves as well to be accurate.

and although the product is good enough, i feel very decieved
Second time buying this, the order went to someone named Wowzer, and although the product is good enough, i feel very decieved. What I got was NOT ultra pro brand... it was a generic brand, and the size is slightly smaller than the ultra pro, although still good enough to fit.So now problem is, i ordered this twice, both came from different senders, both sent different name brands, though labeled as ultra pro, and the second batch, although labeled as same size are not. So i have two different sizes sleves going to one game. It's fustrating after all the work. Now i might have to waste money buying another batch, and make sure its BCW. I feel taken advantage of.The thing is, the second batch are better sized for the cards than ultra pro. So order BCW, don't order this because it's a gamble. You might get ultra pro, you might get BCW.

Not as advertised.
Even if you read the item description closely you may still be surprised. I did not receive Ultra Pro or BCW sleeves. Instead I received some generic, unlabeled brand. See pictures. I don’t like to say bait and switch but clearly images of a higher end product are being used to sell a cheaper alternative.

Cost-effective, nice "feel"
Admittedly, I have not used a whole lot of different card sleeves. But I can say that these are an incredible value compared to most. If you're a board gamer and using them for that purpose (as I am) you know that often, the cost of the "higher end" sleeves can outweigh the cost of simply replacing a game's card set when they get worn/damaged, making it a waste to invest in the sleeves. These, on the other hand, are incredibly affordable and therefore well worth the investment. The other things that I really like about these sleeves:1) They are thin, meaning that your card set doesn't physically "bulk up" a tremendous amount. When some games can contain 200 cards or more in the set, the thickness of any sleeves really does add up quickly, often rendering the box/storage of the original game unusable2) the "slipperiness" of the sleeves make your cards really pleasant to shuffle (which there can be a lot of in modern board games)3) after using over 1500 of these sleeves (Pathfinder ACG, LotR LCG, Dead of Winter, Last Night on Earth, Pandemic, etc), I've had literally ONE bad sleeve that I can recall (somehow it was folded up on itself). I DID have one bag (they come in ten bags of 100) where a number of the sleeves were a bit tough to open/stuck together initially, but it was maybe 20-30 sleeves totalOn the negative (as has been suggested by some): if suppose that if your cards are going to get really heavy play (or you're just particularly tough on your cards) these may be too light for you. Or, if you're looking to protect really valuable collector cards (sports card and such) you might want a heavier sleeve. Otherwise, I don't know how you go wrong with these Ultra Pro "penny" sleeves---highly recommend!

I couldn't tell from other reviews if they were good or not
I was skeptical when I first bought these sleeves. I couldn't tell from other reviews if they were good or not. So here is some info that might help you out--First, this is the 2nd time I have bought these so I am reviewing them based on both shipments (so no one thinks one shipment was a fluke). The fact that I bought this a second time (and gave them a high rating) should tell you I like them. Both orders had the same quality and were very consistent. That being said, I am rating these for what they are-- penny sleeves. These are simply meant to protect your card from the oils on your hands and stop the edges from getting worn. They are not heavy plastic and will not stop cards from being bent… but why would you put your cards (even unsleeved) in a position to be bent? Both orders (months apart) were all the same brand, same size, same shape. All of them were in good order and had no misshaped or miscut sleeves…all where good. I actually use these sleeves for creating play test copies of games I create so in each sleeve I have a playing card with a piece of paper on each side (effectively creating a new front and back to the card within the sleeve). They are easy to put in and take out, but I have never had a problem with cards falling out of the sleeves. and we shuffle them A LOT (deck builder game). the cards always stayed in place. Now they do stick a little bit so you have to be careful dealing them out…but it isn't sticking like glue or anything, it is more like a static electricity type of sticking-- easy to separate, but be aware that you might deal 2 instead of one of you are dealing quickly. In the end, I would use these again. Heck, I already did! easy to use sleeves that are good quality for what they are. cards stay in place, each to use, and protective. Perfect as long as you aren't looking for a thicker plastic to help prevent people from bending cards (or just tell your friends not to be jerks and to not bed your cards.)
