Hedgehogs eat it.
Whilst the Hedgehogs eat it I'm not sure why because it looks horrible and smells horrible but as it's not made for human consumption who am I to say if its good or not. 5 stars because the hogs seem to like it.

Hedghogs absolutely love this mix!
Had alot of hedghogs visit the garden since february had bad high winds and bottom slat on my fence broke creating small gap since then my garden has been a hedghogs gathering party, unfortunately within a month my garden was clear of all the snails and slugs and so they had started to somehow climb into the cat flap in the brick shed to eat my cats dry food I leave out in a bowl over night and they always get themselves trapped in the brick shed as they forget how they got in, so i ended up setting up feeding station at bottom of garden adding the odd sliced banna or scrambled egg or spare dry/wet chicken cat food every few days to keep them at bay of causing mischief which has worked, i did buy hedghog food from HB but some of them didn't seem very keen on it and hardly ate it. Wasn't till i brought this they have been going nuts for it as the bowls are always empty by 5am. I have adults and even tiny babies following there mum visiting the garden every night now. I brought this about 5 weeks ago and have i another weeks worth left, im suprised its lasted this long considering I leave out 3 bowls every night and thats to feed between 5-9 regular hedghogs who visit every night well worth the £13 especially now that they are piling on so much weight i have quite of few of them struggling to squeeze in and out of the gap of the fence now, im not complaining as it means early hibernation for some of them which means less to feed soon till next year.Pros:Air tight sealed water proof tubMixture of pellets and larvaeGreat for adult & baby hedgehogsLasts a long timeGreat price👍Cons:None!

My hedgehogs only eat the dry one not pellet
I bought both dry and pellet types and unfortunately when mixing them together, the hedgehogs only eat the dry type and leave the pellet ones untouched. I am not sure what the ingredients are in each. I thought they were the same but apparently not. I read another review that their hedgehog also ignored the pellet type. So please keep that in mind when you are buying big tubs. .

It brings great joy
Not being a hedgehog I find it difficult to advise on the appeal of this product. That notwithstanding the hedgehogs to whom I supply dinner appears to be absolutely delighted! As night falls we can hear crunching, snorting and the snuffling of very contented wee prickly beasties.Their modest container is soon depleted and, once refilled, guest hedgehogs appear to add the joyful sounds of, apparently, insatiably appetites.Great nourishment for hedgehogs and wonderful fun for their human caterers.

3.75ltrs not 5ltrs
It's supposed to be 5 litres. I measured it out and it was about 3.75 litres. Really poor value for money. Also, I'm really tired of sellers lying about their products. It is eventually going to ruin online sales as people will stop buying because of all the mis-advertising. I have done a video but I can't load it at the moment.

Spiney the Hedgehog Approves.
I have a couple of spikey garden chums regularly do their evening bimble around my garden. And it gives me inordinate pleasure having them in my life – admittedly from afar and via CCTV… Basically, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve started to appreciate things such as the increasingly under pressure native wildlife in the UK.The most regular of the hedgehogs my wife has named Spiney and his evening walk is almost clockwork in its regularity. Thus we decided to put some food out for him – and other hogs – to help them survive.First, we used cat food which, he thought was okay but clearly not first choice in summertime when presumably other more enticing stuff is around such as worms. Then we moved to all round hedgehog food which was a real hit.Unfortunately, the local cats also thought so which was a real problem and to be honest genuinely upsetting as Spiney stopped doing his evening visit. Cats might not be able to hurt a hedgehog, but they eat the food and of course being a predator three times bigger than a hedgehog inevitably makes them more wary. So, I bought this food on the basis that a cat would not like it. Also, we made a more secure house for Spiney which, took a few goes as the cats were fairly determined to get into the hedgehog restaurant. Eventually the combination worked. Cats don’t like this as much as the all-round hedgehog food – although I’m sure a hungry cat might try it – and the feeding place was better protected. As a hedgehog food goes it really hits the spot. My wife put out cat food, the all-round hedgehog food that was Spiney’s previous favourite and this stuff. And this won easily. Now, I’m not saying that’s always going to be the case because, it might be that at different times of the year a hedgehog prefers different food stuffs but, so far this has proven to be number one choice. The slight downside is that apparently it can make hedgehogs fat – which might be good for winter perhaps. I’ve decided that with two (at least) hogs doing the rounds they will self-regulate.Bottom line is that this is a real hit and less liked by the feline garden pests. I have accepted that it has to be inside a place that cats struggle to get into, but it does help reduce the visits from local cats desperate for normal hedgehog food.
