This is the perfect size for my neck. I like that it heats up in the microwave oven rather than having to plug it in. That is more convenient for me. I really like this heatable neck wrap.

Instructions for cold therapy on one paper insert say 60 minutes in freezer and on other insert says 2 hours. This is really stupid and in my case having strained my neck 2 nights ago I wanted to use it as soon as possible but will have to be trial and error. UPDATE 3/20/25 I left it in the fridge freezer 2 hrs to be sure and it did the job. If in our much colder chest freezer probably 1 hr would work.I am now using it for heat therapy using our 1100 Watt microwave, from room temp of 65 heating 1.5 minutes on each side .. after a bit of trial an error. No burn problems removing momentarily to check and using it for about 35 minuets total, which I may increase (probably giving heat a boost in the micro at about 20 minutes. Moving up to 5 stars

This heating pad works really well and has become a regular part of my routine for relieving shoulder tension and easing headaches. I heat it up in the microwave according to instructions but it was just not warm enough and the little heat didn’t last. I tried to microwave a bit more and still it didn’t get warmer. Overall, this is a warming pad but not a heat pad!

I bought it for neck pain warming it on the microwave and it works perfectly fine, it keeps the heat long enough.As an information I used it with a light towel so I keep it clean.
