I have a star wars bottle that I bought from Target that looks just like this bottle (only difference is that darth vader is on it) and if I put both of them together, no one could even tell that there is a hidden compartment in this one. I can fit a large amount of dollar bills if I fold them or I'm sure a necklace/watch would fit, but other than that, it is pretty small. But definitely worth it if you have a bunch of cups/bottles around cause it disguises itself really well, and you can add liquid to the inside. No one will even notice! Best diversion cup ever!

This is a great place to stash money if you don’t want anyone suspecting you have cash in the house. Looks, feels and functions just like a regular drinking bottle. You can fit quite a lot if bills in there. Easily 40/50

Perfect for hiding money, cards, etc. And it's a real water bottle?? Not a very big one, but it does hold water which is great. It's sturdy which is great because it's not balanced very well and will fall over if you breath on it too hard. Just make sure whatever you pack inside the compartment doesn't rattle too badly because it does make noise if you shake it. Overall, one of my better Amazon purchases.

Travelers know it's a good idea to never carry all your valuables in one place. To that end, I've got a couple different diversion safes that I use for storing jewelry, cash, and other items when I'm on the road. What makes this one stand out is its completely innocuous appearance; there's never going to be a situation where this is out of place. I got this one for driving; stick it in your cupholder and who knows what sort of treasure you've got hidden in plain sight! Five stars for concept!The execution, however, leaves a bit to be desired. It's still plenty hefty, but it's not nearly as heavy as my stainless water bottle (size differences taken into account). The top lid is lined with plastic and feels cheap/rough. The storage compartment is roomy, but the metal bottom is flimsy. Mine also has some very sharp metal shavings still attached along the bottom edge (like when your can opener doesn't make a clean cut) that'll have to be fixed. There's also a little bit of superficial rust and dirty looking residue inside the bottom storage area. I'm not really sure how well it's going to hold up to the rigors of travel, but fingers crossed.In the spirit of science, I handed this to a friend of mine and she didn't notice anything unusual about it. While she was holding it, I noticed the bottom threading is clearly visible. It doesn't automatically make you think diversion safe, but it looks a little wonky. In a perfect world, this would have been made with sturdier metal, the quality control standards would be a little higher, and the bottom threading would be obscured. Hope this helps.

Don't go to a local store and get one for to much money than it's worth!!! Instead!! BUY THIS PRODUCT NOW!!!If you need to stash money or something and are out and about, get this bottle it's great! Wide mouth opening. Holds 1 1/2 cups of liquid. Bottom screws on/off nicely. It works!!! Only complaint is that you can look and see and kinda easily tell that the bottom does screw off. Mind you its only when looking close/knowing what to look for. I ordered a water bottle carrier that goes well with it and hides the only complaint I had. Now I can walk around sipping gulps out of this and no one would know that I'm holding over 800 in cash, my house key, small big lighter, pack of rolling papers, and more. All at same time, inside hidden an unsuspecting bottle. :)

Was dirty on the inside and its cheap metal but its alright gets the job done.

The stash area is plenty big enough and you can’t even tell the bottom unscrews. I think it’s perfect. Put it in the cabinet with several other metal-type bottles and it blends right in
