The blades are slightly separated so they provide a self-sharpening feature as they are used. They cut grass very well. They do not cut twigs. Made in Germany. All metal construction with an anti-stick coating. Recommended product.

Admittedly your skill at giving a haircut to grass depends on your ability to hold the shears level with what you want to cut but These shears are beautiful to hold and work great. You won’t find this level of quality at your big box hardware store. Note: you want to wash and dry the blades (not soak) when any grass gunk get on them so they stay sharp. Thank you Amazon for making great products available and easy to find.

Unfortunately, snow on the ground means I’ll have to wait to try these snippets out in the spring. They are good weight, all metal, sharp blade. I have high expectations for them.

I could have bought something like this made in U.S.A. several years ago for $12. To get any kind of quality now I had to pay something insane like $30 for these, from Germany. Such is the world. They seem to work fine. You know, like grass clippers.

I've been looking for awhile for a good pair of grass clippers for the "fussy" areas of the yard, as there is only so much a weed whacker can do. These seem to be it. The operation is very smooth, and the blades are very sharp, and seem to be keeping that sharpness. The only thing I might have added was a little bit of a foam cushion on the handle, but really they're pretty comfortable without it. All in all I'm pleased with my purchase.

Super sharp, cuts through grass like a hot knife through butter! I use these shearers to hand cut the grass alone my fence line where my mower can't get to. Very easy on the hands. Highly recommend!

These are light weight hand shears. You can feel that you have a quality tool in your hands not like the inferior stuff sold at big box stores. For more heavy duty shears the Zenport ZL119 are pretty good either of these can be sharpened. I use hand slip stones a medium & a fine to put very sharp edges on my garden tools.For a home owner these Berger 2200 are excellent. You should as with any tool clean it after use keep it sharp and it will work well for many years.

High quality shears cut easily, sharpen easily, have been used continuously this spring and are holding up very well. Worth every penny and I wish I had found these years ago.

I own a kitchen mandoline by the same brand so I knew these would be great . Darn sharp , hehe. Use with caution . I dislike the noisy machines so manually trimming edges of the loan turns the whole experience into therapeutic and relaxing .
