EPB
Honda 2022 CRV. Least expensive scanner tool that could do an EPB reset so I could service rear brake pads. Worked fine. Easy to use. Would love if it was touch screen but can't complain for the price

Works Perfectly for Rear Brake Jobs on Modern Vehicles
This OBD2 tool did exactly what I needed. It successfully retracted the electronic parking brake (EPB) on my 2017 Honda Civic during a rear brake job. It supports vehicles from American, European, and Asian manufacturers, which adds great versatility. If you’re considering alternatives, there is a manual way to retract the EPB piston, and it sits inside the standard rear brake piston commonly found on modern vehicles. But this tool makes the job way easier and more efficient. Highly recommend for DIY brake maintenance.

Easy to use.
I used this scanner to change the rear brakes on my Nissan Rogue. It was very easy to go to the correct screen and do the job.

Nice product to have on hand
This scan tool is a great tool to keep on hand. As your car gets older it will help identify check engine lights so you can get an understanding of what the potential repair is. It plugs in very easily. Easy to navigate screens. The drawback to some of these is how hard it can be to clear the codes. This one is a breeze

Very satisfied with the quality and ease to use
I bought this unit because all the repair shops would quote a code and not give you all the information you should know. I like the ease of use and the additional information that the dealer/repair shop omit when telling you what could be wrong. It is well worth the money to know all the problems that could possibly be wrong. Then you could look up the price of the part and make a decision whether you want to replace it or have someone else replace it. If you want to know information prior to seeing a repairman/technician, this is an item you may want to look into buying. I do recommend this item if you just want to know what the codes are, or you are looking to do the repairs yourself.

A device every car owner needs in their toolbox.
Saw a review on YouTube and thought I'd give it a try. Price is very good. Should have purchased this a long time ago when one of my previous cars kept turning up a CEL and I kept taking it to AutoZone for testing.I like the color screen and simple readouts. Happy to report that the cars in my driveway are all clean of codes. Waiting for the son in college to return with his beat up wreck to see what we might find. Definitely a useful device to have handy if you get a CEL and want to compare the results with the mechanic. Can't be sure they're not tossing more codes at you just to make an extra buck. Recommend.

Will it pass smog or NOT???
As advertised in the Motopower product description. I specifically bought this MP69039 scanner because I simply wanted to know (in advance) if my vehicle will PASS SMOG before taking it to the state testing facility and risk paying two testing fees in the event it doesn't. The scanner supposedly will help me determine whether my vehicle is compliant or not, but what the scanner doesn't do is render a simple pass or fail results. I'm assuming that I apparently have to understand this obscure foreign language, which obviously I don't, and now I am still feeling extremely uncertain and back where I started. So I tested my 2008 Saturn Vue first yesterday and compared my findings against my 2020 Toyota Highlander. I'm assuming based on the end results that my Saturn is now I/M test ready, but without actually providing legible pass results of either vehicle... I'm still feeling very unsatisfied that either vehicle at this point is in fact I/M Ready.
