KAYA 40

Last year, Ziggy Marley remixed and released Exodus. This year, Stephen Marley remixed and released Kaya. What a fantastic project and tribute to their Dad, Bob Marley. I think that Kaya is an underappreciated album but it ranks right up there as one of Marley's best. There isn't a weak song on the album and without a doubt, Bob Marley was one of the world's greatest songwriters. Check it out.

Amazing amazing! The vibes are heavy!!!

2 copies of this vinyl returned both with exactly the same issue. Sides 1,3 and 4 play and sound great, as they should, this is a great album, I have it in multiple formats and was looking forward to it on vinyl but side 2 has a persistent crackle/pop that starts before audio comes in on track one and continues throughout track 1 and 2. Big shame as the full size gatefold artwork looks great and the rest of the album sounds great. No visible damage to the disk and was the same on 2 copies so I presume this was a bad batch of the pressing.

Como digo, el disco Kaya original sigue siendo uno de mis favoritos de Bob Marley,. Gracias a este álbum doble en el que vienen tanto el disco original como el de su 40 aniversario no me ha hecho mas que confirmar mi sensación. que no es otra que la de seguir amando el original. El disco 40 aniversario tiene cambios que aunque no sean muy ( o si ) apreciables cambian completamente las canciones. Posiblemente para una persona que no haya escuchado nunca el original le guste al no apreciar los cambios. Yo personalmente me quedo con el disco original.

I like this cd but not as much as Exodus.
