I actually live a few miles from the Smoker, but their website was down and my out-of-town husband was jonesing for some sticks. So, I paid extra and ordered from Amazon as an stop gap measure. He was ordering for a bunch of boys down in Texas that had actually heard about our little smoker.... needless to say, not it's a non-stop job to keep them supplied with pounds and pounds of these things.... I purchased the beef sticks and the pepperoni. The pepperonis are the clear favs down there, but they'll eat anything that shows up from the Smoker. If you've tried other brands, I challenge you to try just one order of these and compare. You'll never look at others again in the same way. (SORRY AMAZON)... and order directly from the Smoker when their website works, it's a better price. I order from Amazon nearly every day... but sometimes the pricing on Amazon is a bit out of the reasonable.

I was excited to try these, I have been looking for a replacement to my discontinued Jack Link's X-sticks, Oh why oh why did you have to discontinue!?!?Anyway, they were smaller than I was expecting but that's never slowed me down. I tore into the bag, fished one out. First thing I notice is that they are firm, that's good. More of a dry stick than the smooshy salted lard sticks you can get at the gas station counter.Even though 'smoke flavoring' is listed as an ingredient, it wasn't like opening up a pack of wet fire ash. Smokey smell was slight, smoky flavor was subtle.The flavor was very good. As I said, it wasn't a salted lard tube, mostly meat. I would most certainly recommend these, at least to try, for anyone else who is as broken as I about the premature loss of the X-sticks. While they are not as good they are still very good.

What the What?! This was a 2nd order: First order was awesome, but this order arrived visibly saturated with amber liquid (later determined to be oil) inside the vacuum seal. Possibly a one-off QC issue. Product tastes good, but all the paper towels I had to use to soak up the excess hydrocarbon soup made the purchase unpleasant.I know Tillamook Country Smoker (Bay City, OR) well: Great establishment next to another favorite, Pacific Oyster. This product is described as "Bulk Retail Refill" and although I purchased it for personal consumption, there is NO WAY TCS (or anyone else) would sell that mess *retail*! Caveat emptor.

First, these were delicious. They taste exactly like the meat sticks I buy at the convenience store, which was exactly the flavor I was looking for.So, why 3 stars? Because the product was not what I expected. I thought I would get the same size sticks I get at the convenience store. These are the diameter of a slim Jim, and only about 6" in length. Since I was buying what I thought was a bulk package, I figured 36 sticks for $22 made sense. I mean, I get a different brand at Costco for $12 and it has plenty of sticks in it. It's about value. I love them, but not $22 worth.

I've been eating beef sticks for years. These are by far my favorite. I don't know how I didn't find them before now. When you bite into one it snaps off like a crunchy pickle. A napkin was at my side for the grease factor. There was no greasy fat on my fingers. If you put the beef sticks in the refrigerator until cold the "snap" when you bite into one is even better. Oh, by the way,they taste good too.

These are tasty. No sour meat taste as some sticks can have. Plastic container taste was slight to start. Had to air out the container. Use better plastic if sending in solid container. I would buy this brand again. I like a dry stick and these are well-smoked.

Very good beef sticks, people leave less than 5 start because of expected size so I attached a photo for reference. These are very tasty and have a good crunch to them when bitting through the case but the case is not the terrible paper tasting type. Not super fatty like other sticks I’ve tried which is a plus for me, many of the other larger meat sticks texture seem more like salami I think. These have great Smokey flavor and drier texture. Will buy again for sure!
