Hotspear Swim Buoy Dry Bag for Open Water Swimmers and Triathletes Swimming Tow Float Durable Nylon

I have 3 of these and prefer the original version. So far, I'm not a huge fan of the 'selfie window' version as the air chamber bloats out the cel phone window, making touchscreen operation a bit difficult, but not impossible. Selfie version also has only one grab handle and seems smaller. But, it works fine with my Samsung S9, which is connected via Bluetooth to an altec H20 speaker. I'm about 280 pounds and swim few hundred meters several times a week in a deep lake-it lasted two summers so far! Now I can do sprints and rest when I get winded. Or just relax and flooooaaaaat. Plus, you can fit lots of stuff in the dry sack. Brilliant!

I like that this dry bag is nice and bright making it very visible, It works as a good flotation device if you need to. I have swam with the cord wrap clasped around my waist, then the buoy floats down by my feet/lower legs, which in itself, takes some getting used to because I try not to kick it while swimming. Most importantly, it is a safety piece of equipment and I feel secure having it with me while swimming lengthy distances.There is also an inner secure bag for your car keys which is a great handy part of this buoy.

We just took these to Maui and they allowed us to snorkel for hours. They kept our gear dry and were great to hold on to to float when we wanted to take a little rest. You don't even sense you're wearing it. They allowed us to snorkel for well over an hour at a time. Even better, they allowed us to spot each other quickly when we surfaced so that we didn't get separated. I can't say enough good things about this product. It's incredibly well designed and sturdy and makes snorkeling fun and safe.

Bought this primarily to store valuables when in the water at the breach and not worry about them being stolen. Worked as intended and quality seemed very good. I placed phone and other items in a waterproof pouch and placed the pouch in the dry bag. I did not trust it to be totally dry for my phone. It actually was dry, but the waterproof pouch made it easy to remove items that stayed dry. The bag also provided a bit of security while in the ocean. Not a life preserver, but you can certainly rest on it for a little buoyancy if you need it. i.e., leg cramp. Some drag on you if it is windy, but not much.Note: the bag while fully inflated on land, seemed to deflate rapidly when in the water. Maybe the change in temp. So it required another inflation in the water and then it worked fine. It stayed inflated when tested on land, so it must be due to the temp change.

Loved this swim pack! I previously got the windowless one, which was great in keeping things dry, but this selfie-window one is quite useful. I was surprised because I can take good quality pictures now while swimming in the sea and I didn't expect the photos to be as good with double transparent cover on the bag's window. I will say, using the phone through the window is a bit hard. I have to leave the screen on my iphone unlocked so I can use it with the bag. But, that's an easy thing to do. Overall, very happy with the bag!

Just started OWS(Open Water Swimming) in early 2019 and like this one much better due to the clear window for your iPhone or other items to hold. I have used this in a 10k OWS and put a couple of gel packs within. Due to the current you may find your hand hitting this at times but not going to knock the product. However you can purchase rectangle or more elongated swim buoys but they won’t have the carry pocket.

Excelente product, but belt hurts. Could be larger and smoother.My daughter is a 15yrbold Open Water Marathon swimmer and we bought it.for 2-3hr work outs in the ocean.

I saw this when I was in Barcelona and thought it was not only a great idea, but it was made very well. I ordered it as soon as i could and got to try it out last week. It is great! almost no drag, attachment does not get in the way when swimming and perfectly dry when i was done! Lots of room to put my cloths as well as the phone. Highly recommend this!

Pleased with this purchase. I do open water swimming and saw others with similar stuff but this one has a window so I can see if my wife has arrived to meet up etc she just texts me

The window in the front developed a hole after one use and therefore the item is no longer functional.

Buen producto relacion calidad-precio. Es estanco y el material es bueno. El unico pero es que al llevar cosas dentro, el punto donde va anclado del cinturon a la boya hace cabecear la boya si hay oleaje, pero si solo lo utilizas como baliza o para agarrarte si ye cansas, entonces casi ni lo notas. Hay que emplear la logica y si la mar esta mala, hace mucho viento o corrientes fuertes, no hay meterse, ni sin, ni con boya...

La boya es de buena calidad, yo la compré hace casi 2 meses y al cabo de 10 usos empezó a perder un poco de aire por la junta de la ventana selfie (se veía claramente que era un defecto de fabricación), hablé con el vendedor y luego de enviarles unas fotos y un vídeo del problema me mandaron una nueva en una semana, que lógicamente ya la he probado y va muy bien. Realmente una atención buenísima, estoy más que satisfecho. Por otro lado quería dejar una recomendación y es que, como indican en las instrucciones, siempre meter el móvil en una segunda bolsa (que viene con la boya) para más seguridad, ya que esto me ha salvado de perder un móvil de 700 pavos, y como fue mi caso siempre puede haber una falla de fabricación o cualquier otro problema.

J utlise cette bouée depuis 3 semaines à raison de 2h par jour (vacances en méditerranée ) et je la trouve geniale car elle couvre plusieurs usages :1. J y mets mes affaires de rechange et mon smarthone qui me permet de tracer mon parcours avec mon application runtastic.Mieux qu une montre gps car il n y a pas de perte de signal.Sac parfaitement etanche2. La bouee gonflee flotte parfaitement et n' offre pas de resistance en nageant. Tres visible. La sangle est bien dimensionnee.3. Apres la nage je l utilise comme oreillee...

per ora funziona bene. non entra acqua e la pochette trasparente dove mettere il telefono anche lui nella sua busta stagna funzionano. Ha la tendenza a capovolgersi a faccia in giù ovvero con la finestra trasparente verso l'acqua. Ma mentre nuoto non mi importa un granché.Rettifico la recensione oggi 30/05/2020: una leggera crepa a livello alto della finestra si è formata e dunque entra un pochino di acqua. Niente di preoccupante, ma mi sarei più che altro aspettato cedesse intorno ai tappi e invece. Anche la pochette del telefono riaprendo le tre chiusure si è aperta un po' di più su un lato, e quindi è molto meno stagna di prima. Credo vada sciacquata ogni volta si si nuota in mare, la mia, arancione, si è sbiadita assai.

Ottimo articolo per il nuoto in acque libere. Ne ho comprate due: una per me ed una per mia figlia, che è ancora una ragazzina. Da quando le uso, facendo lunghe distanze, ho finito di nuotare con il panico di non vedermela più a fianco mentre nuoto. È un articolo che consiglio. All'interno, ognuno di noi due mette il cellulare e così anche mia moglie riesce a seguirci con il gps dalla riva quando non siamo più a vista, nel caso in cui seguiamo tratti di costa frastagliati. Molto utili le due maniglie che ti consentono di aggrapparti per qualsiasi tipo di problema. Non sono economiche, ma sono capienti ed il materiale è robusto. Finisce anche il problema di non sapere a chi o dove lasciare le chiavi della macchina.

It is way better quality than I thought it would be. It has two valves. I guess in case you get a leak in one. I have tried it once and you don’t really know it’s there. I think my foot may have kicked it once. It seems like if you want to put stuff in it, you should blow it up after you insert the items. Otherwise the air chambers fill the space. It came with a really nice cell phone waterproof bag. I will post again if I have any issues but so far I highly recommend this product.

poco da dire. prodotto valido. il telefono all'interno della busta stagna resta asciutto (ce ne stanno anche 2 più eventualmente un documento o dei soldi). io sono alto 170cm quindi la lunghezza della cinghia per me è perfetta. lo spazio all'interno è molto ampio ma se ci devi mettere una maglietta o un asciugamani meglio usare un sacchetto. non entra aqua ma si forma comunque umidità.

Es mi primera boya para natación en aguas abiertas y estoy muy contenta con ella. Lo compré ya hace 2 meses y lo he usado en unos 6 ocasiones. El material parece de buena calidad y es liviano pero robusto y duradero, y mantiene mis cosas personales secas por dentro. En general, la boya, y lo que es más importante su costura, se ven bien hechas. También me gusta mucho su vibrante color naranja y es fácil y rápido de inflar y desinflar. Al principio pensé que posiblemente podría haber elegido una más pequeña, pero ahora que es invierno y voy más abrigada, estoy muy contento de haber elegido este tamaño. La primera vez que lo usé, la boya pareció tocar mi mano al pasar por el muslo en el estilo libre, pero ajusté la correa para que quedara más abajo en mi cintura y ahora no sucede. La entrega fue rápida y el precio igual o mejor que otros que también consideré.

Likes;- It was filled with air 3 months ago and left to see if the air stays in. So far, most of the air is contained. I think the slight deflation might the be the result of temperature difference.- Bright orange colour makes the device visible even in a distance.- Hand grips on the belly and the long strap would make it easier to swim without feeling restricted.- It does not take much effort to inflate the device.Dislikes;- I have not tested in the water yet and this review will be updated once it was tested in a lake or at sea.

He repetido compra, antes había comprado la sin ventana y ahora con ventana.Me sorprendió porque he podido tomar buenas fotos mientras nadaba en el mar, pensaba que las fotos no serían de calidad al tener doble funda transparente (la de la bolsa + la funda para el móvil " doble seguridad de protección") .Para poder operar con facilidad el móvil , he dejado la pantalla desbloqueada de mi iPhone al introducirla en la bolsa, por ese motivo ha sido fácil usarla. Ho comperato la sacca a fine stagione . Nuotando in mare aperto ho sempre portato con me una boa . Questa sacca offre una serie di vantaggi . È studiata per essere vicina al corpo ma non interferisce con i movimenti . In condizioni particolari di mare mosso si può avvertire qualche strappo che suggerisce una cinghia più lunga . È possibile assumere posizioni di relaz utilizzando a mo di cuscino in posizione dorso . Ha una buona capienza . E’ facile da gonfiare e da sgonfiare con il tappo doppio. Ha due camere d’aria indipendenti . È di materiale robusto . Il prezzo è giustificato dalla qualità del prodotto .

La boya va muy bien. La he probado ampliamente este verano y ha cumplido con las expectativas:1. Es estanca, los objetos que metía dentro no se mojaban2. Es fácil de usar3. La correa parece corta, pero la longitud es la adecuada. Es verdad que con algo de oleaje y según de dónde viniera el viento a veces mi mano chocaba con la boya.

Très pratique pour garder ses clés de voiture avec soit, supporte le poids d'un homme de 70kg sans souci, aucun souci de dégonflage excessif après 2 ou 3 heures d'utilisation, très visible de loin pour les bateaux, pas d'humidité anormale dans la poche intérieure (je mets toutefois mes papiers et clés dans des sacs congélo par sécurité supplémentaire). Utilisée principalement pour les palmes, masque et tuba (sans apnée, car sinon il faut une rallonge). Légère décoloration liée au soleil après 4 semaines d'utilisation quotidienne dans la mer mais cela reste très acceptable. La qualité semble être présente. En conclusion, très content de cet achat très pratique et évitant de se faire passer dessus par un bateau ou un scooter des mers.
