Rod DesyneSPT-O-36-1 Oval Spring Tension Rod 36"-60", White, 36-60"

It’s just what I needed and it got here ahead of schedule by a day or two. I use this type of rod for a lot of things, not just curtains, and they’re the best. Just be sure to get the longest one that will telescope down to just under the size you need so it will overlap and be as sturdy as possible.

The size of the hamper is what I expected. Unfortunately my bathroom, after redo completion, is smaller than I expected.

I purchased this rod to hang up my new curtains unfortunately I was not able to use the screw for the tension because it wasn’t part of the package . Because I had previous curtain rods I was able to use the right itself just a support the curtain otherwise I would’ve had to throw it away

First thing that I liked about this, that I can see some people not liking - the stop screw to determine the length. I really dislike the ones that you have to unscrew forever to try to get where you want it. This makes it so much quicker.This is a tiny little thing though. I only had to traverse about 42 inches of window for curtains that were just a bit over 4 feet long. So it doesn't have to hold much. But as little and thin as this is, I'm struggling a bit to imagine it with weight in the center if it's at the full 60 inch extension.So be aware of how tiny this actually is in diameter. But if you are like me, and didn't need something big and beefy, this will do the job just fine.

These tension rods were what I was looking for to replace some old ones. They are being used for hanging curtains.

Great for hanging sheer drapes on a screened in porch. Screen and frame is black and rod blends right into everything.

It is what it is, its a thin tension rod - it does the job, and it seems pretty sturdy for what it is.Just don't expect to hang 30 lb of weight or something along those lines.I used it to hold a small curtain for a small window - and it is doing it's job just fine.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Perfect length for a small area to hang the curtain. However, it was tricky to make it stable at first. (I think it will be so much easier if someone else is helping you!) But I made it!If you are looking to hang a heavy curtain, I guess this isn't right for you.

You can find this exact same rod, with different brand names, for a fraction of the cost elsewhere (Rona, Bed Bath and Beyond).Just to note how this works: you have to loosen and then tighten a screw to hold the tension spring in place and lock it's position/length. The rod is hollow and you can see inside one side of it down the entire length, so this rod works better for places like closets that you can face the open side to the back where no one will see the backside.
