Worked great! But only for 6 months. Lights are burned out and I see no way to replace just the lamps. **Update** - Customer service is amazing and they were willing to make it right. Will definitely order from them again.

I moved into a new house with a koi pond, however the pond was filled with scum and algea. I tried so many products trying to fix it until finally I bougth this and threw it in the water. Within a a day the difference was noticable and by the end of the week the pond was clean and clear. I'm not sure exactly how big the pond is (since I didn't make it), but rought 1000-1200 gal would be my guess. My koi and frogs are now happy again and I can finally enjoy it!

Worked great for 4 months and how I know why it stoped working. When I took it out of my koa pond for the winter it was burned out. A lot to pay for 4 months of use. Too late to get refund.

Looks like a high quality product. Thanks to the reviewer that mentioned the counter weight was packed separately! I almost got discouraged that this was not sinking vertically. The cord is longer than described, which is great for my needs! I believe the user manual says the cord is 17 feet. Hoping it has a decent life span and appreciate that it has a 1 year warranty. Thanks!

This UV pond light worked incredibly well — it cleared up my green, algae-filled pond in just two days. The water went from cloudy to crystal clear, and it’s been staying that way. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the power cord could be a little longer. I had to get an extension to make it work with my setup. Other than that, it’s a solid product that does exactly what it’s supposed to. Highly recommend if you’re battling green water.

Before adding this to my well water tank I had low levels of bacteria. Within 24 hours bacteria was 100% gone and water was safe. Very inexpensive addition to my fresh water system for providing safe water.

I was unable to stop the green suspended water this Spring/Summer. Remembered that UV light works pretty well and our UV lamp in the filter box stopped working. This looked like a simple and cost effective way to add UV and indeed it was! After about 2 weeks, it got clear, I could fully see my fish again. Easy to use, just placed into the filter box and plugged in. Simple and effective.
