These crush washers are something that is supposed to be replaced regularly, but even oil places never replace them! I just purchased a used vehicle and although it had an oil change sticker in the windshield that was current, I did another oil change and when I removed the drain plug the crush washer (that was plastic) was literally destroyed, it should have been replaced a long time ago, so I grabbed these and will replace the crush washer with the next oil change, these appear to be as good quality as many OEM ones at a small fraction of the price and they are aluminum not plastic like some OEM ones...
