Good buy
Choice of two styles of brick, construction required, will make a quality addition to any train set. Hattons packed it securely and it came at the beginning of the delivery window.

Not quite as expected
There is no mention in the blurb that this is a DIY item. It is not difficult to follow the instructions; but certain parts do not fit as they should and a bit if creative modelling is required. I consider this to be overpriced, considering the work involved in setting it up. However, when complete it does look good.

Specification categorically mentioned no assembly, wrong. No mention of material it is made of, a nasty unrealistic plastic. Most disappointed with purchase through misleading description.

Not impressed
Well this was not what I expected. Brittle, coloured plastic and sticky backed plastic.I sat down to build it and soon realised that it was just not going to look the part of a model layout without some serious airbrushing. Being of lazy mind and body I just couldn't face it, there are more deserving models waiting in my 'someday I'll get around to building' pile!.The corners are quite sharp and would not be suitable for a child,on the other hand it looks so toylike its probably not suitable for serious railway modellers either. It appears to not require glue as its all snap to fit, sadly of course very little fits flush. The exterior is supposed to be finished with the application of aforementioned sticky back plastic. It just doesn't work for me as it leaves a semi glossy surface and is so obvious. I suppose you could change that aspect with paper brick patterns that look far more genuine.I'm sending it back and looking for a suitable cardboard kit.Not impressed, come on Hornby get your act together.
