Belfast Sink Jig

Keep all your expense jigs this one is brilliant value for money, good solid materials.... The holes for the pegs could do with being countersunk better tho.

Put in a new oak butcher block counter top and double Belfast sink. The jig was absolutely perfect for the task at hand. It made cutting out the area for the sink a breeze and gave it a professional appearance. It has a sliding plate that allows you to insure that the lines are perfectly aligned. A very simple process to set up and work with. The jig took all of the guesswork out of the project and actually made the task much easier to accomplish and understand. The jig is well constructed and will last for many projects to come and even made in the UK. After successfully using the jig I would highly recommend using it for a kitchen sink install. It made the job easier, gave the finished product a professional finish, and saved me from pulling out what little hair I have left!

Good price and does the job fine. Used a few times already and had absolutely no issues.

I bought this for a job but had to return it unused as we discovered the client didn't know what a Belfast sink was, they thought it was any sink that was made of ceramic. However I did have a good look at it first and its well made like all Unika jigs, and great in depth instructions included to ensure accuracy in use.

These jigs are being sent out with pins that don't fit and no instructions. Unika are unable to solve this problem at the moment and are telling customers to file down the pins to make them fit which is totally unacceptable from such a big brand.So my advice would be to steer well clear of this product until they have the problem solved.

I do a fair bit of DIY and have fitted kitchens in the past. I have a 2000 watt Trend router and wanted a jig to compliment it. This jig is sturdy and thick enough to hold its own weight. It came with instructions which were self explanatory, and coupled with the YouTube videos put on by Unika, I was confident to try to joint worktops. The joints were formed perfectly and look really professional. The jig came with two sets of pegs, and a good cutter. I have used a smaller cheap jig once, and once only, this one is the business. I am really picky when it comes to tools and this jig presents no complaints from me, really pleased. Good price too, can't wait to use it again. Really, worktops are not cheap, so don't use a cheap jig, you WILL muck up the joints.

Leyendo algunos comentarios creía que seria de un material de poca calidad, pero para nada. Esta hecha de compact material bastante fuerte y duro. Mejor de lo que esperaba.

Etwas teuer fur was das ist, aber gibs auch teurer.

Pas encore testé mais le gabarit est en stratifié donc solide, certes pas autant que alu, mais vu le prix du gabarit festool (+ de 3x le prix). Il est arrivé en un seul morceau c'est le principal, j'avoue que j'avais un peu peur au vu de certains commentaires...Par contre je pense que celui qui a préparé ma commande a passé un réveillon bien toxique. La notice n'est pas la bonne... MDR. J'ai retrouvé la bonne après une petite recherche.

Como bien mostramos en la foto de muestra , tuvimos que comprar dicha plantilla para poder finalizar montaje ya que la fabrica estaba cerrada por vacaciones .Resultado a la vista esta y cliente satisfecho , por cierto la plantilla nos llego en 24 horas , muchas gracias y saludos .

Bonne qualité, livré avec les pegs ainsi qu'une notice. Compatible aussi avec les plans en 635 mm de profondeur (ikea), contrairement aux photos de la description. Parfait !
