Denver TCK-50 Boombox Kidz with 2 Microphones

I have purchased this for my grandson as a Christmas present so it's not in use at the moment - though I have checked that it is in working order. All seems fine. Looks ideal for infants - sturdy, colourful and nice simple controls. I'm sure my grandson will enjoy listening to stories and singing along to his favourite tunes. Let's hope it goes down well at Christmas!

Lasted a couple of weeks before it broke. Was great to begin with and then it stopped playing discs and scratched them all. Am returning product and looking for alternative. Disappointed.

It's early days, but it seems to be a winner so far. My daughter is just over 3 years old, at the time of buying and is able to independently use it, and play her own music. I'm quite disappointed in the microphones. They just don't seem to work properly. There is not enough volume on them to compete with the music. But on the other hand my daughter has a big singing voice so it doesn't really matter that much. But I do think they could improve on that. Otherwise though, I'm very happy with it and more importantly so is my daughter.

Sorry. Wish I had never bought this. Gave it to my grandson on his 3rd birthday. Looks wonderful. He was delighted. The problem is the microphones. They are useless. Ours worked for less than a minute and even then they were hardly audible. I returned the product and asked for a replacement. I wish now I had asked for my money back because the second one was no better. So disappointing. I just can't be bothered returning another one so we are stuck with just having a CD player. I know there are other models on the market which are better because 10 years ago I bought something similar for my granddaughter and that worked brilliantly and was passed on to other youngsters afterwards too. I do not recommend buying this product.

First one we purchased the microphones didn't work, returned through Amazon (no fuss) and ordered a replacement exactly the same and is the next best thing to blankey and super potato, easy to use, we find the batteries are lasting really well considering its usage, would recommend to any one

Bought this for my 2yr olds Christmas. She LOVES music, singing and dancing so she absolutely loves her "music" as she refers to it. The two microphones allows me, her cousins or her baby sister (if she's feeling particularly generous) to sing-a-long to her "music". The microphones aren't that loud (I consider that to be a blessing). It's also easy for her to operate on her own. I've only showed her once how to change the cd's and she's been good to go as it plays automatically. She does need help sometimes turning on the "music" (power) but other then that it's very kid friendly and seems durable.

I can only review the item as seen in the box as I shall wrap it and give it to my 3year old grandson for Christmas. It looks better than I expected, very colourful, looks robust, appealing to a small child and a nice chunky size with a goo handle. I am so pleased with its versatility as it plays music and has the 2 mikes. I can't wait for Christmas to see his little face! I'm thinking of getting another for his younger cousin. I'd even like one myself!!
