Sibley Birds of Land, Sea, and Sky: 50 Postcards

Very rarely does a purchase far exceed my expectations - this was one of those instances. Not only is the exterior of this lovely box of cards of remarkable quality, but the cards inside follow suit. The cardstock is thick, with crisp & colorful images. The corners of each card are rounded, which gives them a more finished & unique look. Each card measures approx 4x6 inches. The cards are of good enough image quality to be framed & displayed in the home, which I may do if I have time to get some framing done! These cards are perfect as a birding resource, for mailing or even as artwork for framing! I’ll likely buy another set since I cannot foresee sharing them or sending as postcards if I don’t have a 2nd set! :)

Probably an unconventional use of these cards, but I bought them for my baby when she was about 8 months old. Three months later and they are extremely well loved. They are her favorite toy. She likes to look at each bird, compare two birds, and gets so excited when she sees the Sibley box come out.

This year I've sent hundreds of postcards ao I have a few thoughts about them at this point. These are the most luxe postcards to date. They are a matte finish on heavy card stock (thick paper) that you can use a ballpoint, sharpie or gel pen without getting ink all over your hand. They have beautiful details which stand out and you will enjoy the lovely birds of North America. There are owls, eagles, swans, songbirds, and waterfowl. Really a bird for everyone and a lovely card. In the time we cannot see everyone it is a great way to let someone know you are thinking of them.

Heavy mailable stock, clear illustrations, nice sturdy box and great price. These will keep you writing and sending postcards for a very long time.

The tape seals on either side were not stuck onto the top of the box. When I opened the box, some postcards were upside down or backwards and not filed as presented in the listing. Maybe it had been dropped and postcards just gathered and shoved back in? I think a few are missing. The postcards are a good quality, but I’m disappointed in how they arrived.

The Sibley “Land , Sea and Sky”postcards are beautiful! Thick high quality cards stock, sturdy dividers and absolutely gorgeous! Even the container is just lovely! This may be my favorite Amazon purchase EVER!! I plan to buy these as gifts.

Cards were a little small, but the illustrations are gorgeous. Loved the round corners. The illustrations are more interesting than the typical ID type images, birds are shown in flight, in the habitat etc. Some of my favorite cards so far, and I hesitate to mail them because I want to keep them all!

Auch die Box ist super hochwertig und sieht einfach auch wirklich schön aus.Eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Ich würde diese Postkarten immer wieder kaufen.Nutze sie aktuell fürs Postcrossing. Aber man kann sie auch einrahmen und als Deko benutzen. Das macht auf jeden auch viel hier.
