These are thinner than standard towels. However, this does not affect their ability to dry a person after bathing. The thinner material allows them to take up less packing/storage space. It also allows for quicker drying time, discouraging bad smells. They produce much less lint than standard towels. Although these are not the softest peshtemals I've used, Salbakos actually has the softest in my experience, these Paramus ones are soft enough. Also, the price point for these is the best I've found. Would order again.

This was my first time is towel and I was super impressed. I like it for the gym because it packs nice and compact but when I wrap it around me it goes about 1.5 times and from armpit to mid calf (I am 5'2" but even a tall person will get great coverage). It dries your body nicely and the towel tries faster than a normal one so it doesn't get smelly. I took it on vacation and used it as:My scarf to the airportBlanket on the planePool towelBathing suit cover up (I could wrap it around and tie behind my neck)I have since ordered a set from Amazon. They were a little cheaper per towel. This one is thicker and softer. I don't mind the others but this one is my favourite.

I love these towels! This particular one is a little thicker than some others. I actually bought 3 of this one. Two I had seen into dish towels as Turkish fish towels are hard to find and expensive! The third is a throw blanket I keep near the couch. Upon receipt, I always wash twice to soften and never use fabric softener. Didn't notice any shrinkage. These were my 4th order from this seller and each item has been great.

beautiful towels. arrived quickly. not so absorbent--leave a film of dampness on the skin. but hoping they will improve with a few washings.

Shipping was very fast but the color was nothing like what was pictured. I ordered the turquoise and it is a baby/sky blue color (top towel in the picture). Very disappointed.
