TetraMicro Crisps Complete Fish Food For Small Tropical Fish, 100 ml

I just got some Clown Killifish and wanted a (non-flake) floating staple, the bigger ones happily take these but I would say the food is too big for the fish. I bought micro sticks because all my fish really like the Tetra Prima Mini Granules. The micro sticks are bigger than the mini granules! Therefore, not suitable for my purpose but I believe it to be a good food all the same. My sometimes fussy betta took these straight away, they are bigger than his hikari bio gold. Unsurprisingly my greedy neons were all over these, mine are big and I would say the mini granules are much better for neons both in size, and for column rather than surface feeding. Micro sticks are way to big for my Boraras (strawberry Rasboras) though they did try hard. Probably a little big for clown killifish. Really good and readily accepted by my lamb chop Rasboras - will use these over flake and granules now for them. In summary these are great for small surface feeders but are too big for tiny fish with small mouths. For tiny fish I really like Tetra Prima Mini granules but those sink a little fast if you don’t have mid water feeders and scavengers to clean up.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought for Galaxy Raspora CPDs and Dwarf Emerald Danios. Seem to have taken to it. It floats down and rests on plants etc which seems to encourage foraging behaviour after the first munch.Tub is filled to the top, a little messy at first, so suggest leaving foil on and only peel back enough to get spoon in. It will save you a lot of hassle.

I haven't bought these before but I'm glad ive bought them now. My tetras absolutely love them. I alternate with flakes but they know they get these in the evening it's a frenzy. Will definitely buy again.

Found this to be a great food for all the fish in my community aquarium they love it. It's just the right size for the smaller fish and sinks quickly enough before the top feeders can clear it all up. The small scoop provided is a good addition and holds a good measure of food, be careful not to overfeed though it looks tiny but holds a lot. Overall a great quality food and there's no waste as the fish don't have to break it up into smaller pieces to eat it.
