NOT BAD!
This is an updated review. !!!!YOU HAVE TO GET AN ACTUAL UV FLASHLIGHT OR IT WILL NOT CURE!!! The light included in the kit will NOT do the job. Otherwise, the resin itself works miracles. I used masking tape to shape “moulds” on chips that were on edges. I put another piece of tape (sticky side on sticky side) where the chips themselves are so that the resin doesn’t glue itself to the glue on the tape. I struggled with the light included in the kit as it would NOT cure anything. For 4 days the substance would stay liquid, until I bought an $8 UV flashlight and put it to use. Takes about 5-20 minutes to cure with it, depending on the size of the chip. I did not take “before” pictures but on my photos you can kind of see where the chips were. I struggled taking the “after” photos because I could barely see the spots I fixed - that’s how good this thing is. It’s not gonna be perfect but it will protect it from chipping further and will save you thousands on useless repairs or replacements. Their customer service is also very responsive so I recommend you reach out to them before freaking out and returning the product.

Nice concept, but doesn't deliver.
We decided to give this a try since it was pretty cheap and relatively easy to use according to the product listing.First, the product that arrives does not match the product pictured. We understand that the product packaging may change and that isn't factored into the review. It's an observation. Even still, this 'kit' feels like something that was put together in someone's garage. The 'leveling tape' is a piece of plastic film wrap. The 'leveling stick' is legitimately a Popsicle stick. Now, our experience pumping the product differed from others. With the applicator tip installed, it's pretty easy to get it to come out as desired. Without the tip installed, way too much will come out.But the part that knocks this thing down to a one star... and it should be zero stars... the kit does NOT cure. OK. It's a cheap kit. We get it. The key chain light is something that looks like a trade show souvenir. OK. It's a cheap kit. But regardless of whether you're charging $20 or $200, it should work as you describe. The blue light does NOT cure the epoxy. It just leaves a sticky mess. We tested this out by doing it for the five minutes suggested by the packaging and even letting the blue light sit on the repair area for SEVEN HOURS. Only very minor curing... but that might be due to the product drying out for sitting so long. In any case, the repair never achieved a consistency more than rubber cement. Used a blue light from another source... no curing. Nothing.

Works great, BUT...
I've never used UV light curing resin before but this kit worked pretty well.A few points:• The little UV light is ridiculous. Instructions say to cure the resin for 5 minutes My repair involved a ~24" crack that would have taken a millenium to cure. I used a plug-in UV light my son happened to have and it worked great.• The amount of resin in the tube is so miniscule I had to purchase more to complete the job. In all fairness, the ad clearly states the kit comes with "2.0 grams" but I didn't know how much 2 grams is. Now I do.• The essential "leveling tape" is tiny. I had to use the backing from a vinyl sticker to do the job.• The resin dispenser's "microtip" is great and allows you to fill even the most narrow crevaces.• The other accessories would be helpful for a teeny tiny repair job.

Not Suitable for My Long Deep Countertop Crack
Was an interesting product to try; Easy instructions but after applied product i had to use the blue light it said for 5 minutes for hardening which is Not practical in my scenario of a cracked counter top from front to backsplash. Also, the crack was all the way through so this product simply leaked through and wasnt able to harden even over time. Perhaps there is a better product for deep and long cracks or thicker even to stay in the crack. Definitely the blue light for 5 minutes isn't feasible; needs to be a quicker setup.

Great for small chips, but takes a while
The process was a little more tedious than I had expected, but this chip filler did an amazing job. Just take a look at the before and after pictures! You would never know it was there.Yes, like the other reviews say, the light is very small. But it does work. And if all you have is literally one chip in your table, there's no reason to invest in something bigger.I wanted to be on the super safe side and make sure I did it right the first time, so I would apply a very thin layer of the acrylic, then hold the light over it for 10 minutes. (The instructions say to only do five, but again, the safe side.) Doing it this way, I probably had to do four thin applications, curing with the light each time, and then I sanded and it was done.I think my only actual complaint is that the leveling tape they send is a total joke. It's maybe a half an inch wide. Even for a chip this small, the leveling tape was just barely sufficient. I almost wonder if they sent me the wrong kind of tape. In the instructions, the tape looks like it should be much bigger. But overall, this is well worth the purchase.
