FUTON BUNK BED (COMPLETE WITH MATTRESSES) IN SILVER METAL FINISH

Over all the bed itself is fine but the delivery was a joke, the frame and the mattresses came in 2 separate deliveries, they don't tell you this though and you need to chase them for the other half of your order, I was blatantly lied to about when the 2nd half of my order would be here, they tried to blame the courier! We took my son's old bed down because we were notified the order was on the way, even though I had to contact them to ask when that would be! So he went 3 days on the sofa before he could sleep in his bed, not that he minded! it was only when i said i wanted my money back did the 2nd half of my order arrive. Like i say product itself is great just the delivery was ridiculous.

I nearly didn't buy this bunk bed because of the reviews from people who had trouble with assembly. I bought some other flat packed furniture at the same time and found a company called www.unflatpack.com to come and put everything together as I didn't want the supposed 'nightmare' job of doing it myself. It took ONE man only 2 hours to put the bunk bed up, without any stress, swearing or use of a hammer! He hadn't put one together before and commented that the instructions were fine and easy to follow....It all arrived OK with the colour futon that I wanted, complete with mattress and it was a very quick delivery. The bunk bed is sturdy and solid and my son loves it, as do I. I can't quite understand why so many people have had 'trouble' with this bed as it really wasn't the enormous hassle others have suggested it was. Glad I didn't pay any attention to the reviews.....maybe you just need to have more than 3 brain cells to assemble it!

The futon mattress is not the best but will work to sit on and on occasional sleepovers. The top mattress is ok for a small child but too thin for a teenager. This thing was a nightmare to put together the instructions are shocking bad. I think I had to take it apart and put it back together 4 or 5 times there were no written instructions and the pictures were not clear at all. If you buy this make sure you have your own tools to put it together you will need a set of wrenches, Allen keys and a hammer

The futon arrived dirty and soaking wet but in all fairness they offered me a replacement straight away and send a new one out. The reason for the 3stars is the fact that it was the hardest thing I’d ever put together- I’m very good at flat pack but this was the worlds worst the put up! This bed is a get what you pay for sort of bed but does the job.

The instructions are not very clear however if you use your common sense it goes together fairly easily. The futon doesn't sit well as it droops at the top but overall for the price I'm happy.

Great bed my son loves it, but don't use the tools that come with it they round off the screws to easy, easy to put up if you don't round off the screws

My daughter was very excited about getting this bed. However she was disappointed with the futon part. it is filled with foam pieces so you end up with a very lumpy and uneven futon. Also we asked 4 white which was an option, but when it arrived it was cream, another disappointment. It took my partner and i 3 hours 2 put it together and my partner is a very practical person. so if your not get someone in to help. also there were a few sharp bits on the welding, which is messy, that needed sanding off. also lots of marks on the metal work. its ok now its up and after 3 hours putting up we're not going to send it back. but if i were you i'd think twice before ordering this bed.

This item was easy to put together, simple instructions, everything lined up, built it on my own with no issues, building time was quick only took about 1 hour 20 mins not been slept on yet but looks fine for occasional use which is the purpose I bought it
