I ordered these as a replacement for an old set of "blackout" curtains that still let in quite a bit of light. I'm someone that needs complete darkness to sleep and live on a street with several streetlamps, so it was getting to be a problem. While the price is a little high for me, these are the real deal! They truly block out light! I ordered the Taupe color and wasn't sure if the lighter colored fabric would be an issue in terms of letting light in, but it's not. They're not the prettiest curtains I've ever had, but definitely the most functional. The fabric is exceptionally soft. The only issue I have with them is that it takes quite a bit of effort and time to get the creases and wrinkles out! I washed them and started to iron them but after it took me about 30 minutes to get one to look somewhat acceptable, I gave up, hoping that the creases would come out on their own from hanging. Sadly, this is not the case. They look ridiculous with all of the creases but I refuse to spend more time trying to iron them.

We've got several sets of these in the house already, and they work pretty well. You're not going to get pitch black conditions, especially since light can escape from the top/sides/bottom (depending on what curtain rod you use), but it's more than enough for our needs. Even better, the pack comes with two panels! It's always so frustrating that most curtains seem to come one in a pack, when most people use two. The only real complaint I'd have is that there's no panel on the back side of them. I used to have a set of curtains that had almost a plastic sort of liner on one side, which not only blocked more light, but also helped regulate temperature from the window. That's the only improvement I can think of for these curtains, but otherwise they're really nice!

Even in the color red these provide total darkness, make the room warmer, and look great when the window is opened up.

Wanted blackout curtains and these have worked out really well! I bought them for a bedroom and a TV room.

The color is rich and smooth - no pattern of any kind (which was important to me). Needed to be ironed out of the package, but most curtains do. The room-darkening is 100%! I tried to take a picture with the curtains & door closed but it was too dark for a picture, so the light in the darker picture is coming from the hallway. I did close the blinds for the photo, and the window itself is shaded by a tree, but still, the darkening was impressive. Wish they had more colors!

Muy buena compra, las cortinas están bien confeccionadas, justamente son del color, material y tamaño descrito, no permiten el paso de luz y no son nada pesadas. Algo adicional que me hubiera gustado, es que hubiera un tamaño para tener mas anchura, así no querían completamente extendidas en una ventana de 2 metros de ancho. En general las recomiendo ampliamente.
