Decent product, not amazing
This is the first time I have used a face serum like this so my expectations were mixed. Primarily, I wanted a serum to help work on some of the dark marks from acne scars on my skin. I sent a question before purchase asking if it would work on that, they said yes. I am black though not very dark complected, but the scars do bother me. I wasn't sure this product would work, but was willing to give it a shot. After a month of use, I noticed overall that my skin was doing well and that my older scars were not as terrible as they had been, but the newer scars along my jawline were still dark. So I don't think this product worked for that. What had improved is I think I have more filled-in skin, smoother. I have two distinct frown lines on my forehead (family trait, have had these for ages) and after using this, I noticed that those lines are not as defined as they used to be -- still there, but seem to have softened a bit. So for those who have wrinkles, maybe this will work well. I mostly used the Vit C but also tried to Retinol. Not sure I can say what the difference is between the two unless I use one exclusively but I'm not that hung up on the product to give it a go.
