It's a thick tape that sticks well. It seems better than other brands, but I have come to believe that the tape to use depends on the project. This is just a good tape to use when needed, but I have other tapes for different projects.

This is the best duct tape. It is so strong and lasts a long time. My husband used to make a cover for his shop exhaust fan and it lasted 3 years. Sun, rain, heat, cold. Happy with purchase.

Great tape, you can't go wrong, especially if you're using it to hold up plastic outside. The white tape doesn't hold up as well but this black one is great.
