I will start off by saying that this is approximately the 8th 70Mai dash cam our family has purchased for our vehicles. I bought my first 70Mai dash cam back in 2018 and have been a loyal customer to the brand as it provides damn good bang-for-buck and doesn't have any dealbreakers. I'm also quite picky when it comes to cameras in general as I am a hobbyist photographer and know what makes a quality video/photo. This Omni camera uses the one of the best Sony Starvis sensors on the market which is a great starting off point for the camera. It's a large sensor which means it will perofrm better under low-light and have better dynamic range during the day. When it comes to video quality there is absolutely nothing for me to complain about with this dash cam. Day or night, sunshine or rain, the video is crystal clear and easy to read license plates off of. The rear camera on this is also much improved compared to the previous model included with the A810. It also has 5GHz WiFi which makes transferring videos to your phone so much faster. The camera has also been a hit with everyone who sits in my car as they find the facial animations charming. They also love the voice activation and taking selfies/vlogs with the dash cam. sing the voice commands and having the camera rotate has been a hit and a great party trick. Everyone from my young 8-year old cousin, to my ~30 year old friends love the voice commands and facial animation. The parking mode is also a wonderful feature and the AI model used to track suspicious movement is quite good. I rarely, if ever, get false alerts. You also have the ability to use the 4G hardwire kit to remotely monitor your vehicle, and in this mode you can also manually rotate the camera to get a full 360-degree view of inside and outside your vehicle. I have no cons to list for this camera. For the price you are getting a well-rounded dash cam with great hardware and a cool features that make it fun to use along with being a necessary tool.

First and foremost, this dash cam is absolutely professional grade quality! It is super easy to install, it is highly engineered, allowing installation in just about any vehicle I can think of. This dash cam is voice controlled. This means it works like a regular dash cam but you can also give it voice commands. One of the most unique commands I've seen on here is the selfie command. If you tell the camera to take a selfie, it'll pivot 180° and take a picture of the inside of the car. You can also tell it to look left or look right and it is motorized and will do what you tell it. I've never seen any other dash cam do that. The video quality is astonishing day and night, it is no problem to read license plates. The dash cam comes with an SD card so you don't have to worry about buying it separately. You only need to cables to run, and these are very easy to tuck behind the trim with the included plastic tools. One of the cables is USB power and the other one is the cable going from the front camera to the rear camera. Just route the cables along the windshield and the door trim and it is very easy to get the cables hidden in your vehicle. The cameras themselves are very compact and will not block your view. The main unit has a display built in which works great and you can also set it to turn off after a certain amount of time. The camera has another cool feature called adas, which includes safety features such as Lane deviation monitoring and also monitoring if the vehicle in head of you is too close or is the vehicle ahead if you starts moving such as at a stoplight. So if you have this activated it will tell you if you have a lane deviation, or following too close or if you're at a stop in the vehicle ahead of you starts moving. Definitely worth every penny.

Since I got X200 omni from Kickstarter campaign I used it for more than a year, even purchased another X200 to second car. They was very useful in different scenarios, especially parking surveillance mode, voice commands (not always worked fine tho). When I got X800 and tested it with 4G Kit, I may says it's significant upgrade! When parking surveillance mode is used suspicious person tracking is really amazing, camera tracks person very smoothly, no rapid movements. Recording quality is waaaay better than X200 dynamic range improved as well! I personally use 4K 60fps mostly and video recording quality, bitrate are just on another level! Size of front camera a little bit larger than X200, but it's understandable, higher resolution produces more heat, so X800 has more ventilation grilles and semiconductors used to beat the heat! Really curious how it would work during summer hot conditions in Texas 🥵 Voice commands work properly, when either FM raid or music is on, no camera moves were made if there were phrases "left" or "right" in lyrics. It was a thing with X200, with X800 need to say a whole phrase "Capture right" or "Capture left" to actually rotate camera! It's a huge improvement! Another thing is Wi-Fi connectivity, camera supports 5G and downloads recorded footages very fast! After firmware upgrade it became even faster!

Installed in my car but no tracking and no warning lights in surveillance parking mode. This is 99% of why I purchased this camera. It’s supposed to spin around and photo anyone getting close to my car. The light band around the camera should turn on and change colors as the threat gets closer. All it does is take photos in one direction. With no light warning. Their help person said to download the latest firmware, but that’s already installed. Looking through the manual and I can’t find anything on auto tracking. This feature doesn’t seem to exist. Updated 7-17-25 They’ve sent me a replacement camera. It’s installed and doing what the first camera did, no Sentinel tracking or lights. So it still doesn’t work. Updated 8-1-25 Now working. I docked 1 star, because it took along time to get it working. Part of the problem was my aiming the camera out the back window to capture the 2 side windows in Sentinel Mode. It must be aimed out the front window! The direction do mention to aim it out the front, but don’t mention it won’t work if you aim it elsewhere. The support team went way out of their way in helping me with this problem. Great team! They Stand behind their product! A few more funny things: The camera is very sensitive and turns on because of my blinking car alarm LED. This will require me to play around with its sensitivity. The camera, as it should, turns red if I stand around the front of the car and tracks me. It warns if I’m approaching a car too quickly and tells me the car ahead has moved. My 2022 c8 corvette doesn’t have auto breaking, a traffic warning is a nice feature. I’m not using the cell option yet. Clear beautiful front and back pics. I highly recommend this camera!

Extremely difficult to get working but eventually it started to work and worked pretty well for several weeks. I even got 4g working with T-mobile. However mine randomly started making noise like it’s detecting something or turning on or off. 24/7 ding, dong, ding, dong, ding, dong. Updates don’t work. Restarts don’t work. Nothing works. It’s distracting and infuriating. Don’t get this unless you’re a masochist. EDIT: The sounds stopped and then came roaring back. Ding….dong….ding…..dong…..ding…..dong. When the car is on. When the car is off. You reboot it and it stops. I try to take a video to capture the sounds and it stops. Then it starts. Then it stops. Ding….dong…ding….dong. I’ve turned off tones. I’ve turned off ADAS. I’ve turned off voice control. Nothing works. And now I can’t maintain a WiFi connection to go into the settings. I hate this thing. Most frustrating piece of tech I’ve ever purchased.

I'm really happy with my purchase. It's solid and feels well-made, not flimsy at all. The onboard screen is a great bonus. The basic installation took less than 15 minutes, though you'll need extra time if you want to hide or organize the wires for a cleaner setup. The image, video, and audio quality are outstanding, day or night, and it even captures license plates clearly. The voice controls make the setup quick and easy. This dashcam offers 360-degree coverage, making it ideal for rideshare drivers. The G-Shock sensor is a fantastic feature, working whether you're driving or parked. It's especially useful for detecting impacts, whether from an accident or someone bumping your car while parked. (I shook the car and immediately got a detection notification on the app.) This is a crucial feature for me since I work from home, and parking incident detection is just as important as driving.

I’ve been using this dash cam for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed with its performance. The video quality is excellent both during the day and at night. It does a great job capturing details like license plates clearly. Installation was super easy — everything came in the box and I had it mounted in about 10 minutes. The Wi-Fi feature makes it very convenient to access footage from my phone, and the app is user-friendly. The parking mode and motion detection features add an extra layer of security, which I really appreciate. Overall, this is a fantastic dash cam and offers great value for the price.

This dash cam is fantastic, and its functionality is incredible. The videos are recorded on the memory card and can be viewed within the app. It's well worth the price.
