Really well built bike
This bike is very well built, but rather heavy. My kid had a different brand balance bike that he outgrew and it was very light compared to this one. I love how the pedals can snap right in or out without needing tools. It was extremely easy to assemble. The only issue during assembly was that the instructions were not specific to that model so some didn’t apply, but it missed some information as well. I thought the back reflector was missing the bracket. It wasn’t until browsing review pictures that I figured out how it attaches to the bike. However, there was no mention of that in the instructions that came with it. I really love the brown leather like material. It adds a nice contrast to the blue. The tires came completely filled so that was nice. I would recommend that the company reinforces the box because the staples came undone and the box was essentially open. It was pure luck that nothing fell off. Overall, it is a really nice bike that seems like it will last a long time.

My child learned in less than an hour!
I with I could give this bike ALL the starts out there. I bought a super cute bike a couple of years ago for my child who is on the spectrum and has some issues with coordination. It was a disaster. The bike was heavy and I could only remove the pedals; not the arms, which caused a lot of bruises. She could not learn and it became a source of anxiety and distress. After trying a couple of times, she would not try again and that bike went to waste. She has a couple of friends in the neighborhood that ride bikes and I could tell she wanted to join them so I took the risk again, but this time I did my research. I didn’t want to buy a balance bike AND a regular bike for obvious reasons. Royal Baby stuck with me due to reviews and for being convertible. I set it up on Christmas Eve and it was very easy to set up the handle bar, the seat, and the reflectors. On Christmas Day, I was bracing myself for a meltdown. We started on a paved flat area. She did short strides on the balance bike, then promptly she went to long strides, and though I thought she needed more time, she went to short bunny hops than large bunny hops. After about 10 minutes, she asked to try the pedals. I was reluctant, but after pushing her a couple of times, she did it! I was so happy for her. No tears! No panic attacks. Just some perseverance and a proud smile on her face! It was light enough for her to pick herself up and keep moving. I love the simple and practical look of it. Thank you, Royal Baby for being what my girl needed to learn. It was totally worth the price.

Very good quality at a decent price.
Very easy to assemble compared to other bikes-in-a-box. Took just a few minutes to build. Massively better quality than the C*way bike i bought recently. The seat has a premium look and feel.

Amazing Bike!
Amazing bike! My daughter went from training wheels to riding this on her second day of trying, and now she’s riding like a pro. Super smooth, sturdy, and perfect for building confidence fast. Definitely recommend!

Cute bike that can grow with your child
We got this for my son who was growing out of his smaller bike. We are happy with this bike though it has a few minor drawbacks. Pros: + It came in a larger-than-expected box because it was almost entirely built, which was great. Both wheels were on the frame so all I needed to do was attach the handlebars and seat, which were super easy to do. It even had the kickstand already installed. I've done a different bike for my daughter and there was more assembly to it. + It's great because they provide a video showing how to assemble the bike on the product page. I didn't attach the pedals as he's still doing his balance bike right now, but this will be great as spring progresses and we decide to snap on the pedals to teach him how to ride a pedal bike. They attach and disattach easily enough that it should be great for helping him learn. + The colors and design are great, especially the brown saddle/seat with the rivet detailing. + The chain comes with a cover around it to protect your kids pants from getting caught in it. + The quality of the bike is great as it feels solid. However, this adds to one of my drawbacks as well. Cons: - The bike is much heavier than the simple smaller balance bike he had before. Ultimately, this makes sense because this bike has the chain mechanism, chain protector plate that's going to add weight. But it's a dramatically heavier bike that my son noticed and will take a little to get used to. It's just not near as quick and nimble as his smaller balance bike. The bike I bought for my daughter is bigger and still a little lighter than this one. - I wonder how easy it will be to remove the chain protective plate to fix the chain if you need to or add lubricant. - I think it's pretty expensive for a small kid's bike, especially since you can pick one up at your local Walmart for half this price. We'll see how it goes this summer as to how easy it is to maintain and how the weight might impact his learning curve for pedaling.

Great purchase for balance bike owners
Bought 16 and 18” for kids 5 and 7…. They had balance bikes and hadn’t learned the real thing. They were up in 5-10 mins by themselves and no skinned knees or elbows. Great investment!
