These are not motion detection products. I knew that when purchased. Works great for me. If you notice any annoying crows, simply turn head direction until they no longer return. Took only one turn for me to find right direction to scare them away. Haven’t touched them since. One eye fell out of one & I simply glued it back. Works great at great price. I attached to deck railing with floral wire through pre- drilled holes at bottom.

This wonderful fake owl has saved SO MANY bird's lives!!
The front of my house has extensive glass and birds-many gorgeous birds- would fly into my home. They'd see the reflection of the sky and trees in the glass and fly straight into the glass breaking their necks! It has been more than a year since I placed this "fake owl" at the window and I am so VERY pleased-no bird has flown into my window since.I think because its eyes look so real and it is large- birds see it and are deterred.

Not worth it. Poorly made.
Very poorly built for the price. Could have gotten one at the dollar store with the same quality. Very disappointed....and it didn’t scare the geese away. Waste of money for my purpose.
