Worked good and got the computer up to 32 gb of memory

I had taken pictures of the ram cards I already had installed in on the mother board. This helped while I was shopping for the additional ram. It allowed me to match up to what I had perfectly. Very easy to install and I found YouTube very helpful for the step by step. Many reviews said that the ram i had 16G would be enough for most gaming needs but I needed to add the additional 16G DDR4 of ram to be able to handle photo shop layering and video software encoding and rendering. Now my gaming computer can handle more of the multimedia needs I was looking for. Works and runs great and faster than my old ever did with the same amount of 32G DDR3 ram.

Immediately after buying my HP Pavilion 690-0024 I purchased the Corsair 2x 8 GB RAM modules which worked, but after some research on why the sticks never showed up in diagnostics except CPU-Z of course I found ... they only supported the Intel setup? So, I searched and searched for a month and found out my options were limited. Crucial was the only viable option. Then I found this. Matches the stick that came with the PC, I only needed to order one 8 GB stick to make 16 GB and a less pricey as far as the Crucial option went. Got the package, didn't look special, found it to be an exact match with my magnifying glass, stuck it in not expecting much and BAM!!! quite a noticeable difference! Provided, the only apparent difference was 2400MHZ Corsair back to 2600MHZ Samsung which as far as megahertz goes every source I found stated the difference is so miniscule it's impossible to notice. Diagnostics, BIOS, and system info show full specs and I saved money without getting bit by brand name, small print, or a know-it-all local store associate who provided me with the Corsair Vengeance sticks in the first place. Thanks to a previous reviewer for the heads up on HP Gaming compatibility. Got to make up for that missing RAM HP dedicated to the CPU but advertised as a full 8 GB.

great product was easy to fir and upgrade my sons gaming computer to 16gb will probably buy two more in the future to upgrade to 32GBcame packaged perfectly protectedgreat value for money no problems with computer recognizing extra RAM would certainly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade
