Purchased these for holiday gifts for office staff. They write smoothly and lays down a good line. The holder is a nice touch. Looks great on a desk.

This gift was perfect for last minute gift to a birthday party and the gift was very much appreciated and liked the quality. Look more expensive than I really paid for it!

Most excellent pen and pencil set! Good looking, easy to hold and most beautiful! Made out of environmentally advantageous bamboo! The bamboo case is great for gift. And it arrived super fast! Ordered on the 8th and arrived on the 10th! The ink flows smoothly and a pleasure to use.

They are real wood and quality. I just wish the pen and pencil were a little less fat . I lie slim line look writing utensils/ Otherwise I'd given it a 5 . They write exceptionally well also , so I do recommend.

I received my order for this pen and pencil set today and I was so disappointed that I immediately wrote this review so nobody else would waste their money on this pen and pencil set.Cons:#1. The tip of the mechanical pencil is silver whereas the rest of the pencil is gold and wood. The silver tip must belong to a different mechanical pencil because it does not screw into the gold piece on the end of the pencil. The tip does not have any threads to match the gold piece it is supposed to screw into. This is where you would change the lead and this makes the pencil unusable because the tip fell off when I first picked up the mechanical pencil.#2. The gold parts of both the pencil and the pen are nicked and scratched. Maybe the set I received was returned by someone else and then repackaged. I don't know.#3. The color of the wood is different on the pen and the pencil. The wood on the pen is a darker than the mechanical pencil. They look like they don't even go together.#4. Both the pen and pencil look cheaply made. As I mentioned in #1, the silver tip of the mechanical pencil will not screw into the body of the pencil so I can not even write with the pencil. It is unusable.#5. The cost of the set was small so it isn't even worth returning. I will either throw the set into my trash can or place it in my donation box for the Goodwill Store.Pros:#1. The pen actually works.
