USE CAUTION, BUT AWESOME!
This laser will burn holes. High powered for the price. Seems to burn dark material most & especially when fully charged. I got a piece of black gauze to start smoking within seconds. Caution!! Otherwise the cats love it (worry not, we play safe). Depending on use, a fully-charged battery can last from 2 to 3 days, though it doesn't have a gauge to show when full, so i just leave it plugged in overnight & that seems to be plenty. Come with kaleidoscope-style light scatterer attached & can be removed, though gripping the base to unscrew the scatterer can be a bit tricky, as it is sunken into the casing a bit. I see other 1-star reviews because they're looking for a pointer, but it actually can indeed be used as a pointer. Functions well, built very sturdy, great price point.

Works but…
Nice laser, delivered the next day, packed well, works as described. But on the product page below it states a charging cable is included. I bought 2 lasers abs neither had a cable in the boxes.

DANGER - brighter and more powerful than advertised
This laser is NOT EYE-SAFE and NOT FOR KIDS. It's probably ~20mW. Definitely worth $10 but don't take it out during a boardroom presentation or you'll temporarily blind your co-workers. I wouldn't even let a cat or dog chase the dot on the floor - it's so bright that even when projected on a flat black surface it's too bright to look at continuously.

Not a pointer
NOT FOR POINTING. Can't get 1 single laser to point/indicate a location. Only has multi-point settings. Complete waste of my time (=money) to have to return this item because of an obviously misleading description. Amazon sellers suck.

Disappointing thought you could change the size large to small but has long battery life and it’s very bright.

No instructions or cord...
No cord, no instructions. Had to watch videos if other products to realize the tip was removable to use as a traditional pointer.
