Love This Lounger - Not So Much Setting It Up
These inflatable loungers are all over Amazon now and I am here to tell you that they are not all the same. And none of them inflate in 10 seconds. Well… maybe if you are standing outside in the middle of a hurricane or something, but other than that it’s not happening. You can expect to do a bit of work to get your lounger inflated. So, if you are looking to pop this open and hold it up in the air for a few seconds and then plop down in comfort for the afternoon, you may want to reconsider this style of inflatable lounger.With that said, I am very pleased with this particular brand of lounger. It took me somewhere between 5-10 minutes to set it up. This was done alone in my yard on a day with virtually zero breeze. A friend of mine owns one and I helped her run in circles around the yard for a half hour one day and we still never got it inflated. We were hot and sweaty and collapsed on the sofa in her living room instead. When I was finished setting this up, I kicked back on my lounger and asked my hubby to bring my dog and get a picture of us together.I’m a fan of outdoor “furniture” that can be brought inside so I don’t have to worry about damage from the elements or finding my comfy seat all wet after a rain storm. Check. This fits the bill.I’m a fan of comfort. I want to kick back and relax and be just as comfy outside as I am inside. This lounger isn’t quite that comfy, but I do like it a lot. The problem is that once you are lounging in it, it’s not so easy to get back out. In another 5 years I don’t know that I will be able to climb my way out.I’m a fan of things that are easy to use. When I was offered this lounger for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, one of the reasons I agreed to do the review was because it was advertised as setting up in 10 seconds. Wow! Now that’s easy! Not so much. More like 10 minutes. (Was that a typo?) Hmmmmm… Honestly, it’s not a deal breaker because I really, really like having something so cushy in my backyard when I want it. Besides, I can always make my teenage son set it up for me.Finally, I love the nice bright colors that this product comes in. When I’m kicked back in the yard, I want things to be bright and cheery just like the sunny day I’m trying to enjoy. For this reason I ordered this product in lime green. It doesn’t get any brighter than that. I received a blue one. Okay. I can live with that. To be perfectly honest, I was trying really hard to choose between the green and the blue, so I’m still extremely happy with the color. If you are absolutely stuck on a certain color, you may want to be aware that this happened.Overall, despite the hiccups with this product, I am still in love with it. If it actually set up in 10 seconds it would be a 5 star review without question. I had to downgrade it a star for the setup, but I'm still crazy about it. I'm actually thinking it would be nice to have a couple more for the yard. I see some arguments in the future because this is going to be the preferred seat over the camp chairs.All opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own. Inflatable lounger
This was actually a new experience for me and my husband. We both weren't sure 100% the best way to set it up. We ended up on youtube and realized we were silly for not figuring it out sooner. We did it in our house running up and down the hallway, each time switching each opening(there's two). Once we knew what we were doing set up took about 2 mins. Took us about the same time to make sure we closed it correctly. I'm not sure if there is a weight limit. The material seems very durable, my dog climbed onto it and there wasn't any issues. He actually loved laying in it with us. My husband enjoyed it because he could stretch out. Tucked his fit into it and as well as head.I showed my friend the pictures and he said that it looked really awesome. He might end up getting one for himself. Looking forward to trying this out at the beach or the river. All in all this a good lounger. A lot of fun - but you'll need more than a light breeze to set it up... :)
Pros:' Lots of fun!' Great quality on materials' Packs back up very easily' Easy to inflate (but not 10 seconds easy)' Last but not least - very comfy!Cons:' This did take a lot longer (more like 5 minutes) to inflate - at least with a light breeze.Summary: This is a lot of fun and very easy to pack up and take with you! it did take longer than 10 seconds, but was pretty easy to inflate. You will want to make sure you roll up and buckle the sofa the right way or it won't stay inflated.
