I've purchased an Arpan calendar before but was disappointed as the paper was way too glossy to write on with a biro? Is this matt or shiny?

Its not glossy to write as we used normal paper this time.

Is this british uk academic year or usa?

The Calendar starts on 1st August 2018 to December 2019. I use it mainly for the UK academic year but as my husband works alternate Saturday mornings it is very useful to show the whole year so we can book tings in advance. This calendar also allows you to write more than one thing against the date. I love it and will definitely get it again for next year.
