We love these bowls! Using this style of bowl makes it much easier for our Am. Bulldog mix to drink water, and I can add essential oils to the dogs' water occasionally without worrying about the oils reacting with the bowl material. These bowls are heavy, the dogs cannot knock them over, and if they're on a non-slip waterhog mat, the dogs cannot push them around either. We love that the bowls are dishwasher safe. We also got one in celery. Yes they're expensive, but definitely much better for your dog than using plastic, and these are better for the environment since they're also made from recycled glass.

Wow, best dog bowl I've ever used. It's very substantial and attractive. I'm a little envious of my dog drinking from this since I drink from reused fast food cups lol.

This bowl is spectacular. Beautiful color, thick walls and bottom, and 100% non-toxic. From an aesthetics viewpoint, this is completely functional art glass.Now that we know that plastic for pet's food and water is never, ever a healthy option, we need to look for materials that won't allow toxins to leach into water and food. This is the perfect alternative, and due to the master craftsmanship, it should last a lifetime.I intended to use for food for my 14 year old collie girl, but due to the size of the bowl and the extreme curiosity by 'the pack' (2 dogs, 2 felines and a feline who self identifies as canine) it has become a communal water bowl. I kept the 2 stainless water bowls in place and added the PawNosh bowl as a drinking station. Paws down, the PawNosh bowl sees about 90% of the hydration action. We all love it!!** One thing I would note. My pack had only used stainless steel bowls for over 5 years and were initially a bit leary of the filled PawNosh bowl. Because of the aqua color of the glass and the ripples on the water, they were not sure about testing it. Enter the gutsiest member of the pack - all 6lbs of feline fury. She braved the bowl while the others looked on. That's all it took.
