Ideally you should mount it a little away from the wall to account for the hand guard but wow! Already have one mounted in a hidden spot holding my pt111 g2c. I have no doubt that it will let go at any time. It’s holding 13 rounds at the moment with no issues. Super soft rubber jacket around the to keep your guns scratch free!Take your time when you mount the if you use the 3m tape or the screws. 3m tape works best when you mount it and let it sit for a while. Like chili the longer it sit up or marinates the stronger the bond will be. With the screws take the rubber off the mount and mark your holes. Take your time to not strip out any of the metal on the screws since the filings can end up on the magnets or even worse the rubber. You don’t want any scratches on your firearm.There are 4 magnets inside the jump from north to south polarity so to not magnetize your gun.It releases you firearm best with a break away, not pulling straight off. I can tell you I’m ordering some more as soon as I have the cash. I’m going to have one in each car and all over the house. Great job on a great product and keep up the good work. P.s. I was weary about choosing this brand versus another brand for gun magnets but when I saw that it is veteran owned and the package comes with 2 magnets for the same price as others single item, I decided to purchase them.My first impression after opening the box was wow. This is impressive looking. High quality packing and and a nicely branded product.My first test was to grab my heaviest gun 8-3/8 barrel .44 mag and see if these eagle grips could hold it just by the tip of the barrel. And to my surprise, wow it held it very well and even with a little shaking. I was impressed.My second test was to see if it would scratch my guns finish. So I took an older firearm I had , stuck it to the magnet and tried to drag it across the finish. It was very hard to drag it because there is a nice thick rubber coating over the magnet that protects anything stuck to it. It left no scratches on my gun.My overall impression is these are a great product and I will be buying more to mount around my house and vehicle, not only for holding my guns but for hiding keys and holding tools as well.

First would like to thank you for your service to our country. Much respect from me.But now to the product. I just went to install one of the magnets and not one but all four screw heads snapped off before even the second turn. So then I had to go to the hardware store and get a new screws. So now I have not only spent my gas and time which included time to bore out the screws that snapped in the whole. So pretty much an hour of my day wasted. So I finally get it mounted. Mount my handgun and go to pull it off the magnet and the rubber lifts from one corner. So by now my frustration level is pretty much threw the roof. My friend has a similar magnet from different company and had none of these problems for almost $5.00 less. I see there are a lot of positive reviews and this maybe the case for them. But in my over all opinion. Look else where. And I really don't have the time to return them. And I tried really hard to add photos but the add photo box is not working. So truthfully if I could give no stars I would. There is nothing to the cost of this product. That being the case this product is way over priced especially when they cant even provide you with quality $.25 screws if they even cost that much. And glad to ad photos if you get add photo box working.

The shipping was great and no issues with the company. I mounted one magnet On the dashboard under the steering wheel. The magnet is so strong that the second time I pulled my Glock off the rubber coating came off. It was really hard trying to get that back on and once I did, it just happened again. I took the screws out and popped it off and tossed it on the tool box. If I buy another I would get one that is on solid piece and doesn’t have a top that comes off. The two I have will be used to hold tools to my tool box, I guess. It also scratched my pistol which sort of sucks as well. Not for me but maybe this would work for someone else.

I mounted this in my Silverado. I go to the mountains on rough terrain a lot. Had this holding a fully loaded Glock 22 and it did excellent! It never shifted on bumpy terrain. I had complete confidence my firearm wasn't going anywhere. I am so refreshed to see a company doing what they promise and following up to make sure it was done correctly. I will be buying a few more for around the house. I highly recommend and I do not do so easily.

Very impressed with these mounts. I was worried that my firearm might jar loose from the gigantic potholes in my lovely state of Missouri. Both my Glock 19 and my S&W 9mm shield grab the mount securely and stay in place until I decide they need to come off. Will be ordering some for my dad and fiance.

Works great. I bolted to the hood of my riding lawnmower so when I'm mowing my property I have my gun for snakes or whatever I might run upon. It holds my 40 cal no problem,. I even had channel locks and a screwdriver attached to it along with my pistol and even though they were barely touching because of the size of it, it held them tight, and they did not budge. I can even lift my hood at a complete 90 degrees and it holds firm. With all the vibrations, turning back and forth whatever, my pistol does not move. Great product. I will buy more.

Amazing company and product. Used in my E350 Diesel for work.If you plan on using 3M tape, use with screws. If you can use screws this product is not for you.I used the tape and then screwed it in. I am using a Glock 29 (10mm) maybe the tape will work with a mouse gun.The magnets are very strong but the tape won't hold up by itself.Love these guys.
