There's no proprietary formula to be had here. In fact there's nothing at all except pure medical grade Glutamine. Glutamine is very useful for keeping muscle mass from wasting away in various circumstances (post workout for weight lifters, people on high protein diets, people with wasting-away diseases). If you need this stuff, there's no point in taking pills. The taste is just fine and you can add it to any drink you want.All that said, while this is not a bad value and it's pure medical grade Glutamine, it's not the BEST value either. There are cheaper brands that are exactly the same thing. So this is a good, not great from my perspective.

I always have a hard time reviewing products like this b/c I can't ever really tell if they're "working" this one has a weird taste to it and I could NOT get it to dissolve completely in water. I blended it into my post work out smoothies and that worked better and the taste was almost non-existent with the other stuff I put in there (Protein shake, coconut water, etc.). Overall, it's fine, but wouldn't drink it straight up in water!

I've been a longtime user of aminos in conjunction with workouts, and this one is one of the best formulas I've founds yet! Also tastes pretty good, and haven't had any digestive issues with it, either.

This glutamine powder is perfectly acceptable. It dissolves easily and appears to be well formulated though who can really tell? My only problem with it came when the container unexpectedly fell about half a foot from my bottom pantry shelf on the ground. The lid fractured and powder went everywhere. Cheap lid. Maybe all of the money goes into the product.Glutamine is supposed to be a good amino acid to supplement with if you have gut issues or inflammation generally, but I can't say I've noticed a benefit.

Decent product. Can't say I've particularly noticed an obvious benefit to muscle recovery when I use this after workouts, but it's supposed to be doing something beneficial, so I'll keep taking it. Tastes a bit chemical-y, which is to be expected. Palatable though. Not super expensive, given just how little gets used each time. The container should last a while.

I would recommend this glutamine for anyone looking to supplement their normal diet with glutamine. It mixes very well and there is no added taste as far as I can tell. Wasn't familiar with glutamine until I started using this. I've been adding it to my daily post-workout smoothies (along with protein powder and creatine).My muscles definitely feel more recovered, quicker. Last Friday I did an intense workout with weights and was expecting to be sore all weekend. But I wasn't. Did the same workout again yesterday and didn't wake up sore this morning. I have to think this glutamine is a reason for that.No taste to this powder (especially when mixed into a smoothie). Recommend!

Works effectively after my workouts, though adding it to my protein shake makes it a bit sour.
