Mechapro 22182 Premium Engine Cooling Fan Clutch for Nissan Frontier Pathfinder Xterra 4.0L

The clutch works as it should. However, it does not spin as freely as the OEM clutch. This causes the fan to stay engaged and my xterra roars like a dump truck or a plane taking off. Spend the extra $ and get an OEM clutch

...because it never disengages. I thought it might change over time, but alas, it has not. I will just deal with the noisy fan until the clutch wears out.edit - 1/21/19. Went from 4 stars to 1. I finally got sick of it and pulled it out yesterday. If you want a fan clutch that is permanently "locked" and causes excess fan noise, loss of mileage, belt squeal and wear, then this is the one for you.Me, I put the coiled thermostat type clutch back in my truck and now enjoy being able to hear myself think again.

This product does not work!! The fan is louder now than it was with the old one!!Wouldn’t buy anything from this company again..

06 pathfinder replaced it back in February of 2019 alright went out its trash don’t buy this product!
