Long Life Battery - New lease of life for our MacBook 2011
Installation takes 5 minutes; there's no messy glue to deal with. The battery lifts out and pops back in in seconds. Battery life has settled down nicely and we get a couple of days with moderate usage out of it. If you have a 2011 MacBook pro this is highly recommended to get another year or so out of it.

Replacement Battery MacBook Pro Late 2011
This is the third battery change I've done on this particular MacBook, which I've had for 7 plus years. Unfortunately original Apple batteries are no longer available. These 3rd party batteries are not as good in terms of quality and lifespan as original Apple batteries, however you get what you pay for. They are not as expensive as the originals and they will work well for a few years. Well worth the price and for those who still find the older MacBook Pro's useful for our needs, these third party batteries are our only resource for replacements.At the time of writing the battery has been installed for less than a month, however so far so good.

Does the job but doesn't last very long.
This is a good replacement battery so no trackpad issues, but it just does not last very long! I have charged it the way you are supposed to when installing a new battery and still, it's not really up to scratch. If you want a quick replacement mac battery that lasts 1-3 hours then this is for you, if you want a longer lasting battery then this is not for you.

Item exactly as described; nice to have the relevant screwdrivers in the package. Easy to install and performing very well - far better than the outgoing failing battery it has replaced. Would definitely buy this again, and will do when I need to, hopefully not for a few years yet though!

Battery doesn't last
After 18 months (and following the calibration instructions during install) the battery now lasts approx 20 minutes... So need to get another. Will now try NewerTech / OWC, which is a bit pricier, and keep fingers crossed.
