So far it seems to be a quality material. Stays flat, does not was up. I like that it has a warm, low, medium and high setting. It has an auto cut off. The size is good also.has a long cord.

Very Helpful Item
I purchased this heating pad for my wife. She's has various medical problems one of which is a problem ankle that she broke in a fall. The demensions of the pad are such that she can actually wrap the pad completely around her foot and ankle and the heat provides immense relief. The control pad is easy for her to operate with different colored lights for different heat settings. This is especially helpful as she is blind in one eye from a stroke. I would definetly buy this item again. It came well packaged and arrived on schedule.
