This brace is so easy to use and not at all cumbersome like some of the other braces out there. The first time my Physical Therapist put it on me, I walked better than I had in months! I highly recommend it.

My dad is paralyzed on the left side of his body from a stroke so his foot drops and turns inwards at the ankle. I just received this and he tried it on shoes with Velcro and for the first time in 27 years wore slides to test it out and was able to walk in them. Even walked without his cane with more ease. This was just a quick test run and worked great, we’ll be going on a 3 week long trip so I’ll update after that to see how he likes it for actual long term use!

This is so simple to use. They work great. Only thing is that once you get them on your shoe they can be a little difficult to remove. Recommend that if you are going to keep the afo for this style that you purchase several so you are not having to take them on and off to other shoes.

This is one of the most expensive unit but it is worth the money. It is the same unit I used while I was in the hospital during my recovery. It allows rather fine adjustment to my need (ie more or less tension, more tension on which side of my foot, etc). I have been using the footflexor when I did my walking exercises and I found that the footflexor helped me to walk easier and walk further distance. Due to te fine adjustment, the footflexor can be adjusted to my various stages of my condition during my recovery. I am very happy with it and believe that I get what I pay for.
